Not all heroes wear capes in real life. In fact, next to no heroes wear capes in real life – and the same goes for BitLife.

This life simulator lets you live any ordinary life imaginable, which means you can’t simply don a cape and become a superhero.

That doesn’t mean you can’t still perform feats of heroism though, as the Hero Ribbon will attest. This is saved for those special few that go the extra mile and save a life or just be an all-round good person during their BitLives.

In this guide, we’re going to help you get that Hero Ribbon by listing all of the things you can do to trigger it. We’ll also give you some general tips and tricks to make your BitLife much easier.

If you’re looking for something else, check out our complete guide to BitLife. It includes links to all of our other guides, where we’ve covered pretty much every aspect of this awesome game.

How to get the Hero Ribbon in BitLife

To get the Hero Ribbon in BitLife, you have to be as good a person as humanly possible during your life. That means being nice to people, forgiving them for mistakes, and intervening where possible when bad things are happening to others.

Now, you could go the way of luck and just try and be nice throughout your BitLives until enough random events come along during one that you can get the Hero Ribbon from.

That’s not the most reliable route though, as relying on chance can take some serious time. Fortunately, there are other ways you can get the Hero Ribbon.

Become a doctor, nurse, or join the army

Much like in real life, people that spend their lives saving other people’s lives or defending them are generally regarded as heroes.

And there are two different routes you can take to do just those things in BitLife: work in the healthcare system as a nurse or doctor or join the military.

To become a doctor, we recommend checking out our guide on how to get into the best schools. Simply put, study hard as a kid and go to the library often to increase your intelligence. Then, make sure to study something like biology, chemistry, or physics at school to ensure your eligible.

You don’t have to study to join the military, though it does help if you want to join at a higher level as an officer or something. It might actually be better to join the army fresh from school as well, as your earnings are capped, helping to make sure you don’t accidentally earn another ribbon.

So there we have it – you now know exactly what you have to do to become a hero in BitLife. Enjoy yourself!
