For those few of you that haven’t yet played and been hooked, PUBG is combat and survival for people who don’t play fortnite. plus being on mobile means you can fit in matches during any down time, with everything you need at your fingertips.
Whenever new content, updates or a whole new season is available, new life is breathed into a game. This has always been the case with PUBG Mobile, which had Season 4 release barely a few months ago in November. The additions included a new vehicle, rifle and skins, as well as dynamic weather and hardcore mode. As much as I love seeing Christmas themed aesthetics everywhere, I’m always up for something new.
There has been so much speculation on the drop date for the new season update from Tencent, but they like to keep everyone guessing. Some argue that the previous season could go on longer so players can get as much out of it as possible, but it’s extremely unlikely to drag on. there is yet to be any confirmation of exactly what we will be seeing with the newest season, but its doubtful there will be much deviation from previous updates.
As for a date, there isn’t a confirmed one yet. The evidence however, points to the Season 5 release early in the final week of January, just around the corner. This also means that Season 4 will end a few days before that. I don’t expect a confirmation until after the 15th, but we will update as soon as we have a solid date. In the meantime, rank up while you still can, and make the most of whatever your end of season rank reward is, and you will need to purchase a new elite royale pass by the end of the month too.
