Badland Brawl is a PvP battler where the aim of the game is to destroy your opponent’s tower. You take control of a sling, with the intention of inflicting as much damage as you can on your rivals tower, all while attempting to stop your enemy from doing the same.

  • Think about combinations. In Badland Brawl, there are certain items that combine well if used together. An example combination is to throw a “Plain Bomb” into the middle of the map and then sling a “Big Smith” behind it. The Big Smith will then slam his hammer into the bomb and launch it towards your opponent’s tower. So, start experimenting with different orders, when you launch your attacks. You will be able to do more damage if you combine them well.

  • Don’t just attack. Early on in Badlands Brawl, you’ll notice some items you sling are offensive and some are defensive. Furthermore, some defensive items are good at stopping aerial threats and others are good for ground troops. Although the aim of the game is to destroy your opponent’s tower, if you effectively block or parry, you can leave the enemy wide open.
  • Keep one eye on your enemy. When your opponent is launching an attack, you will be able to see what they are launching in their sling. If they are launching a Big Smith, you can get your Fire Birds ready to instantly neutralise the threat. Basically, if you are aware of what’s coming at you, you can stay one step ahead.

  • Eggs are everything. The more you play, the more you’ll realise the usefulness of the eggs. They don’t just give you money and new clones to play with, they also give you upgrades for the clones you already got. It’s possible to level up these clones by finding better versions inside more valuable eggs. So always look back to see if clones you have removed from your party are now significantly better than they were before.
  • Manage your party regularly. While you are playing you’ll notice that clones not in your party might be eligible for upgrading. Therefore, you should always keep an eye on who is in your party and who isn’t. That way you know how close they are to getting the next upgrade. Also, if you don’t know how to use a certain clone then you should remove it from your party. This clone is taking up valuable space and if you can’t land massive damage, or stop the damage being done to your tower then don’t waste your time.

Badland Brawl

  • Don’t be predictable. This may not sound like much of a tip, but what I mean is you should be creative with your attacks. Shooting a bomb into the middle of the map is telegraphing to your opponent what you’re about to do, especially if you have to wait for your “Mana” to recharge. So timing is everything, if your opponent has just launched a Big Smith, or a similar ground-based enemy, then you really don’t want to add bombs into the mix.
  • Be reactive or proactive. You should either be launching quickly to catch your enemy off guard or waiting for your opponent to attack to be able to counter. This means you should either be quick and decisive or ready and reactive to what’s going on. A great player will be able to do both, so don’t get discouraged if all your attacks are blocked. Just keep your defences up and try to build up your Mana for a combination of attacks.

  • Learn from your enemies. Some games you might lose because your opponent has used a clone you’ve never seen before or used clones in a way you haven’t seen. This is your opportunity to learn something and use it against your next opponent. You shouldn’t copy every move from an opponent, just take note of effective combos or potentially lethal attacks they use.
  • Open or enhance? If you manage to get your hands on a high-quality egg then I recommend enhancing it. This means that you will at the very least receive more money from the egg and sometimes better or more loot. If it’s a silver or bronze egg, then it’s probably not worth your time waiting for it, just open it right away.

  • Check the main menu. If you explore the main menu you’ll find an area of rewards and events. The rewards are small gifts that you earn by performing certain acts in the game, for example, joining a tribe. The events will give you access to unique items and eggs, so it’s always worth giving these ago.
