As part of a quarterly earnings letter for investor’s last week, Zynga had some pretty big news to share. The company’s transition to a mobile-focus seemed to take hold in 2015 (while their web business continues to shrink), and they’re hoping to continue this trend into 2016, with CEO and Founder Mark Pincus confirming 10 new mobile games planned before the end of the year. This includes the previously revealed Dawn of Titans and CSR2 (the sequel to NaturalMotion’s CSR Racing), as well as a number of games that were unannounced prior to this letter.

With Zynga seeing a lot of success in the casino genre nowadays (the highest Zynga spot on Apple’s Top Grossing charts belongs to Wizard of Oz Slots), it’s of little surprise that their announced titles for the first half of 2016 don’t vary too far from this formula: Spin It Rich!, Willy Wonka Slots, True Vegas and Vegas Diamond Slots can all be expected before the beginning of July.

Zynga will also be releasing two match-3 games in this time: Crazy Cake Swap, and a game using the same Wizard of Oz license that has done so well for them in the social casino market.

For gamers who aren’t totally smitten with one-armed bandits and matching puzzlers, the second half of the year is where Zynga really seems to be putting its brand-building power. In addition to CSR2 and Dawn of Titans, the company has just announced that they “expect to launch a sequel to FarmVille 2: Country Escape as well as CityVille Mobile in the second half of 2016.”

There’s no word yet on what these might look like or if they’ll deviate much from the existing formulas, but as the two brands that were once Zynga’s brightest, we’re more than a little curious to find out what they’re planning next.
