The Autobots and Decepticons have brought their war (back) to Earth in the upcoming Transformers: Earth Wars – from Hasbro, Backflip Studios, and Space Ape Games. That’s a promising list of publisher and developer names, I think.
The details are still somewhat sparse, but you’ll be choosing a side (Autobot or Decepticon) and fighting against the other with some real-time strategy combat. The glimpse of implied gameplay at the tail end of the trailer below definitely gives it a Clash of Clans sort of vibe.

Today’s announcement confirms that you’ll be able to raid enemy bases for Energon and complete the Space Bridge to bring in notable characters (Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee are confirmed). The game will also feature the voice work Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, aka the original Optimus Prime and Megatron, and dialogue written by Transformers comic scribe Simon Furman.
