I don’t know what SPYJINX is, but I know I really want to play it.

For one thing, it’s the next project from ChAIR Entertainment, the folks behind the Infinity Blade series (and more importantly, the oft-forgotten but brilliantly good Shadow Complex). It’s also the result of a collaboration with Bad Robot. That’s the little film company led by JJ Abrams — and by little, I mean they’ve produced everything from Lost and Super 8 to the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Both companies are playing things fairly close to the chest right now, confirming little about SPYJINX. We know it will be an espionage game with “dynamic world-building and RPG character development,” and that it will be coming to mobile (and PC) sometime in 2016.

J.J. says he first took a meeting with ChAIR two years ago, so it sounds like this has been in the works for awhile. Let’s all hope they’re drawing on his experiences with Alias; I hear that was a spy show to be reckoned with.

Keep an eye out for more info as it surfaces.

Jim Squires is the Editor-in-Chief of Gamezebo. Everything you see passes his eyes first, so we like to think of him as "the gatekeeper of cool stuff." He likes good games, great writing, and just can't say no to a hamburger. Also, he is not a bear.
