It’s been six months since Mojang and Telltale teamed up to reveal Minecraft: Story Mode with a clever little web game — but that announcement left us with few details and little more than a dream about the game’s potential.
But as any Minecraft superfan will tell you, Minecon is where dreams come true.
This past weekend at Minecon in London, Telltale revealed the first trailer for their narrative-driven Minecraft spin-off — and it looks really funny. Mind you, with the voice cast they’ve employed, anything short of sidesplitting would be a crime against hilarity. Expect the five-episode first season of Minecraft: Story Mode to surface on iOS, Android, and just about every other platform you can imagine sometime later this year.
