And while you wouldn’t be wrong to choose either of those as your favorite iPhone game, I’d be tempted to argue that you only feel that way because you haven’t played Traps n’ Gemstones.

Normally $4.99, the first full length adventure from Donut Games (makers of dozens of great shorter mobile diversions) is a fantastic mash-up of Metroid and Indiana Jones, tasking players to delve deep into the belly of a temple and recover 25 lost artifacts as they find new tools to illuminate previously darkened paths.
If you like old school, back-tracking platformers, Traps n’ Gemstones is the best that mobile has to offer.
