Use excess crops to increase your luck at the mystic pool

The mystic pool is an important part of Smurf culture in Smurfs’ Village and the Magical Meadow. You can set your Smurfs to one of several tasks, each of which take up varying amounts of time. These jobs earn you experience, coins, and most importantly, the tools necessary for upgrades and other quests. However, you have a low chance of finding tools in the mystic pool unless you increase your luck by offering up crops before you begin your selected task. This is a great way to use your harvest, especially since you can only store a limited amount of items in your warehouse.

Grow crops constantly

ABG: Always Be Growin’. Lay down plenty of sod and grow crops as often as possible, as they’re your main means of survival. Crops can be sold for cash, and they’re also required for certain quests. They can also be used to help fish rare items out of the village’s mystic pool.

Harvest crops quickly and pay attention to the crop calendar for crop bonuses

Bountiful crops are your best route to a mighty smurf-load of resources and riches. So you should do what you can to maximize your output. There are two notable ways to gain bonuses for your harvest: Picking them as soon as they’re ready, and paying close attention to the crop calendar.

When a crop is ready to pick, it’s topped with a green checkmark. When you tap on that checkmark, the scythe icon pops up, and you can drag it over your bounty to bring it in. Note that new crops have a white glow around them for a short amount of time. If you harvest in that time frame, you gain three crops for every crop sown, instead of just two.

The crop calendar is in the town square. Check it to see what kind of bonuses you can earn for planting and harvesting specific fruits, vegetables and flowers on that day. Building Brainy Smurf’s hut lets you peer farther down the calendar, too.

Complete quests to stay on track and earn valuable rewards

There’s a lot to do in Smurfs’ Village and the Magical Meadow, and keeping it all straight can be daunting, to say the least. Consult the clipboard-shaped icon on the left-hand side of the screen to see what tasks need to be done, and what you need to complete them. There’s a main “storyline” to follow via said quests (Gargamel is up to his old tricks), and there are several character-specific sub-quests to complete as well. All of them offer valuable experience, gold, and other rewards upon completion.

Save up your magic acorns to buy Smurfette’s hut

Magic acorns aren’t easy to come by in Smurfs’ Village and the Magical Meadow, but you can sometimes earn them as rewards (and, of course, you can buy them via an in-app purchase). Either way, save your acorns until you have enough to purchase Smurfette’s hut (75 acorns). That way you can begin to sell flowers. Don’t waste your acorns by using them to speed up tasks. Be patient, little Smurf.
