Whether it’s a partnership with Tiger Woods or NaturalMotion’s upcoming Dawn of Titans, Zynga is looking at a potentially killer 2015 lineup. And if you’re a fan of base-building strategy, Empire & Allies should be well on your radar.

Infusing a more active real-time strategy element with familiar military gameplay, Empires & Allies promises to deliver something unique to the space when it launches worldwide later this year – but why wait for the game to launch when you can play it now?

Zynga has just opened up the application process for the Empires & Allies Android closed beta. Anyone can apply for the beta by visiting this link, but if you’re a Gamezebo reader, you’re about to get some very special treatment: Tell Zynga that you heard about the beta from Gamezebo (there’s a spot near the end of the form), and you’re guaranteed a place in the battle.

If you’re an iOS gamer, don’t feel too left out by the Android-only nature of the closed beta. The game has soft-launched on the App Store in select territories, so you can check it out on your iPhone or iPad if you live in  Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Singapore, the Netherlands, Philippines, India or Costa Rica.

Android gamers can sign up for the Empires & Allies closed Android beta at zynga.tm/empiresandalliesbeta.
