It’s time to go back to the garden!
Finding things and then selling them has proven a fantastic combination for hidden object fans. That’s certainly what we thought when we played Gardenscapes back in 2009, and that feeling was reinforced last year with Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover and its rural relation, Barn Yarn. With that in mind, we can’t help but feel a little tingle in our clicking fingers with the announcement of Playrix’s next entry in the series, Gardenscapes 2.
This time around players will be helping Austin the butler bring the garden of his childhood home back to bloom. Along the way you’ll meet his parents, find photos, and collect objects from his youth. Austin isn’t just any butler though; as a child, he grew up on an estate of his own, so you’ll have plenty of garden to restore!
The developers are promising more than 80 hidden object scenes and 60 pieces of décor for your outdoor garden. What’s more, players will be treated to characters that are fully modeled in 3D, complete with clothing customization options. And if you want to learn a little more about Austin, you’ll have a chance to do that too. There will be 25 different photos to collect throughout the game that will convey the story of his life.
If you’ve got a green thumb to go with your clicking finger, you won’t have to wait too long to dig into Gardenscapes once more. Gardenscapes 2 will be arriving on PC and Mac in late February, with an iPad adaptation planned for some time after that.
