Kairosoft gets ready to cook something up in Cafeteria Nipponica

Kairosoft has just leaked a message through the website kairopark.jp. “According to a well-informed source, a hot new app is bound for release soon… How about passing on the word via Twitter and other social media?” That hot new app? A restaurant simulation called Cafeteria Nipponica.

Headed for Android phones (though we suppose an iOS release isn’t out of the question either – Kairosoft certainly has a history of debuting on one but eventually landing on both), Cafeteria Nipponica is already available as a Japanese-language release on Google Play, leading us to believe that today’s announcement suggests an English version is forthcoming.

As best we can gather from a Google Translate of the Japanese release’s description, players will be able to manage multiple restaurants, develop recipes and ingredients, and prepare foods to satisfy customers. Of course, considering Google Translate has also told us that Cafeteria Nipponica is “a management game with plenty of crowded spear element,” don’t hold it against us if we got any of this wrong.

There’s no official release date yet for the English version, but considering it’s appeared on the English page at kairopark.jp, we’d expect to see this one on Google Play sooner rather than later. If you’re a Kairosoft completionist haven’t finished up Dungeon Village yet, you’d better get cracking.
