As part of the launch festivities surrounding Rovio’s upcoming Angry Birds Space, it has teamed up with MTV and their “A THIN LINE” campaign that fights cyber-bullying and discrimination to allow you to earn an extra level.

This Golden Egg level can be unlocked by downloading MTV’s Draw Your Line app and then performing a “positive action” within it. Essentially, it’s for you to make a pledge to stop online abuse by stepping in when you see it, or sharing the pledge with your friends on Twitter or Facebook. After you’ve done that, you’ll receive instructions on how to unlock the level back in Angry Birds Space.

“We know how big the game has become and the ways people are engaging with it,” Jason Rzepka, MTV’s Vice President commented. “We saw this as a place we could really connect with young people.”

This promotion begins on March 22nd, which just so happens to be the day Angry Birds Space launches on iOS. You will have to act fairly quickly however, as the promotion looks to last only until sometime in April. I don’t think you’ll have much trouble remembering though, as Rovio and MTV will both be promoting this pledge both on TV and in-game.

If you’re one of the millions of fans who just can’t wait to start flinging birds in space, follow the game here on Gamezebo to keep up to date.
