Spacetime Studios gets bitten by the vampire bug with Dark Legends

After conquering the world of fantasy with Pocket Legends and tackling sci-fi with Star Legends, you might wonder what’s left for mobile MMO developer Spacetime Studios to tackle. If your first guess was happy fluffy kittens, you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

Dark Legends will take Spacetime’s popular MMO format deep into the world of vampires. More specifically, the everyday trials and tribulations vampires face from the undead, werewolves, demons and humans that hunt them.

Spacetime are promising an even deeper experience this time around when compared to their previous games, including a much larger focus on narrative. In between missions players will be treated to cut scenes that help a player’s story unfold.

“With each entry to the Legends franchise we raise the bar for the pick-up-and-play MMO space,” said Gary Gattis, CEO, Spacetime Studios. “The changes between Pocket Legends and Star Legends were significant, but Dark Legends is a quantum leap forward in interactive storytelling! Players can live the dark fantasy anytime, anywhere, with anyone.”

In addition to Android and iOS, Dark Legends will be hitting your browser courtesy of Google Chrome. Expect to start feasting on the blood of disrespectful humans sometime in the first quarter of 2012.
