Find nirvana with iWin’s upcoming time management game Rachel’s Retreat

“Relaxation” isn’t the first word that comes to mind when I’m frantically clicking my way through a time management game, but iWin’s upcoming game Rachel’s Retreat is all about helping customers to unwind and achieve that perfect state of bliss and happiness known as nirvana.

Rachel's Retreat

Rachel dreams of opening a peaceful spa retreat, and finally she’s found the perfect location – except that it’s already occupied by a mysterious guru figure calling himself Sven Gali and his followers. Rachel opens her spa and hires Sven Gali to run the activities… but does he really know what he’s doing?

Rachel's Retreat

There have been other time management games with a spa theme, and Rachel’s Retreat shares some things in common with them. Clients arrive at the spa wanting treatments – a hot stone massage, a mud bath, and so on – and it’s your job to direct them to the correct station and help out of needed. (Some stations, like the mud bath, require Rachel’s attention, while others like the mud bath are automatic.)

Rachel's Retreat

Clients’ happiness levels are reflected in their auras: green is happy, of course, but what you really want to do is make them so content that they radiate a purple aura, which means they’re ready to go off to nirvana. If a patient achieves nirvana you can earn bonus points and cash by sending them off to the nirvana room, where you’ll play an optional puzzle mini-game to earn more karma.

Rachel's Retreat

Rachel’s Retreat features 50 levels, five different spa locations, six different types of client, and 18 different beauty, energy and relaxation stations. The game is launching in early June. Be sure to set an alert and we’ll let you know the instant that the game comes out!
