In a move that can only be described as the very definition of common sense, Minecraft has partnered up with the LEGO company to produce official Minecraft LEGO sets. We first brought word of this collaboration a few weeks ago, and already, images of the official product have begun to surface.

When it comes to things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, Minecraft and LEGO toys are a no-brainer combination. So it wasn't surprising when a bunch of fans petitioned LEGO Cuusoo (the branch of LEGO that listens to such requests) for an official Minecraft set. Well, LEGO Cuusoo has finally issued a verdict: The project is a go.

While there isn’t an officially licensed Angry Birds LEGO set in the works (that we know of), that hasn’t stopped talented LEGO sculptor and Angry Birds enthusiast Chiukeung from creating his own.

If you were to stop me on the street and tell me that someone had created a LEGO Star Wars browser-game that was completely free, took hours to complete, and was even better than the originals, I would have laughed until I fell down. And yet here I am, realizing how ridiculous these claims must sound, about to tell you these very same things.
