Is Valve more profitable than Google and Apple?

According to Valve CEO Gabe Newell as reported in Forbes, Valve is more profitable than Google and Apple per employee.

Since Google generates $350,000 per employee and Valve has 250 employees, that would mean that Valve generates at least $87.5 million in profit yearly.

It’s an interesting number, given that Valve specializes in the PC games market, which supposedly is dead compared to social and iOS games, according to the experts.

I-play's Dream Day hidden object series has gone through a few themes over its run. The first three titles followed newlyweds Jenny and Robert as they got engaged and married, enjoyed their honeymoon, and moved into their first home. The fourth, fifth and sixth games featured glamorous destination weddings in Las Vegas, Italy and Manhattan. The seventh game, Dream Day First Love, launches a new direction for the series that explores real-life love stories - in this case, the remarkable and sweet story of Bill and Helen Ely who are about to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary.

Apparently Downtown Secrets' Alex is a more charitable soul than I, because rather than telling Marie where she can stick it, he rushes to fulfill her request that he find some documents hidden in her apartment before the cops do. She'd do it herself, but she's in jail for murder, you see. So inconvenient.

Bubble Town is hardly the cozy village that it used to be. After a wise redesign and several incarnations on multiple platforms ranging from PC to the iPhone and Facebook, Bubble Town’s comical little Borbs have their sights on global domination of a sort, and they’re calling it a Party Planet. Bubble Town: Party Planet’s visuals and gameplay differ very little from I-Play’s standard popular homage to bubble poppers such as Snood and Bust-A-Move, opting for a greater focus on social interaction and additional levels. The problem, sadly, is getting to them.
