Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year Preview

Gamezebo saw a lot of cool games at last month's Game Developer's Conference, but one of the highlights was getting to sit down with HipSoft as they walked us through a preview of Build-a-lot 2, subtitled Town of the Year. Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor Preview

Hidden-object games are a hot commodity in the world of casual gaming. In fact, it seems like a new iteration appears on a weekly basis. This we can attribute, primarily, to the popularity of the Mystery Case Files games. Some are mere clones, stuffing the tried and true mechanic into a new suit of clothes (in this case, different rooms). With insanely popular television shows such as Fox's American Idol and CBS's Rock Star - not to mention our celebrity-obsessed culture - it's no wonder video games are also allowing us to let our hair down and vie to become famous musicians.
