Can someone please help me with the shield puzzle at the oasis? I keep trying to do it but I am just getting more and more frustrated cause I can go no further in the game until I solve that puzzle. Which way should the matchstick looking things point?

The arrow points up, but don't forget to do the inner circles too. I didn't realize they needed to be aligned also.

Can anyone help..The only piece I have left is the shield and the ghost wont take it what do I do?
