Newest Humble Bundle will blow your brain box with awesome!

Since its inception, the Humble Bundle has increasingly become the hub for the “who’s who” of indie gaming, offering oodles of great games for a set-your-own-price point you just can’t resist. And personally, during the release of Humble Bundle IV, I thought it couldn’t get any better (I mean, come on,Bit.Trip Runner and Machinarium!?). How foolish of me. How very, very foolish.

In true oneupsman fashion, Humble Bundle V has brought together some of the industry’s most exciting indie and not-so-indie games for a fire sale the likes of which the internet has never seen. As is customary with Humble Bundles, you can pay whatever price you like, but if you pay more than the average you’ll score a sweet bonus game.

  • Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP – One of iOS’ arguments for mobile as an art form, this part-zen, all atmospheric point-and-click adventure has seen more “Best of” lists than any app store title out there.
  • Limbo - An action-puzzler set in a misty black and white universe where you spend your time running from a giant spider? That’s probably a metaphor for something extremely significant? Sign me up!
  • Psychonauts - Helping this list break the mold from strictly indie to strictly amazing, this Double Fine adventure set in a world where summer camps teach kids to invade other people’s minds is a classic that should not be missed.
  • Amnesia: Dark Descent - I have too many nightmares from my time with this one to bother describing it for you. Just know it involves a weaponless protagonist and a castle that isn’tnotfull of unspeakable horror.
  • Bastion (bonus for paying above minimum) - Perhaps the only game on the list that givesSuperbrothersa run for its award-earning money, Bastion is a must-play adventure through a lush, dynamically narrated universe. The Kid against the world.

If you’ve made it to the end of this article, shame on you! This deal won’t last forever. Be sure to visit humblebundle.com to check it out for yourself before it disappears. And remember, pay above the average (currently sitting at 7.14) to join the 77,000 others (and climbing) who’ve scooped all these games for criminally cheap.
