I want to to introduce you to our brand spanking new “Deals Now!” button in our Meebo Bar below. Every time we hear and report about an awesome game sale, highly rated games that drop in price, free game code giveaways, and beta test offers, we’ll feature it here under “Deals Now!”

The key is that it’s deals now. All deals now are time limited. We may feature a sale that goes on for a weekend, or give away 5 free codes, or share an opportunity for 10 people to be first to beta test a game before everyone else.

The game deals will always be changing, so be sure to click on the Deals Now button in the Meebo bar below to find out what’s the games deal, right here, right now!

At Gamezebo, we’re focused on helping you find the right game, at the best price, no matter the device.

To that end, we’ve introduced this past year the Web’s first cross-platform price drop wall, the ability to track price drops for any game we cover, a games contest and giveaway forum where developer can post their own deals, and a new “freemium” tag showcasing all free to play games we cover across multiple platforms.

The Deals Now! button is our latest exciting new feature to find out the coolest game deals online. Enjoy!

OK, I give up . . . where/what is the "Meebo Bar below?" And where is the "Deals Now" button? (edit) Oh, I found it. But you have to bring up some hidden line at the very bottom of the page.

Agree Sher-lock...found the Meebo Bar (Twitter/FB./YouTube etc), but I'm not seeing any Deals now button. Sounded like a good idea, but guess it's got it's bugs.

I hate Meebo and have left some sites because it could not be hidden; I hope that does not happen here.

I also hate Meebo. It slows down any site. When I come to Gamezebo, the first thing I do is minimize it (no matter what I do, I can't block it). The best thing about checking GZ from work is Meebo is blocked. I hope there's not a lot of content that will be exclusive to Meebo. Meebo is a toolbar that appears at the bottom of your screen. You'll see the links, from left to right, of Share Page, Twitter, Stumble It and then Deals Now. If you don't see it, you've got something blocking it.

Hi. If you do not see the Meebo bar, look below at the right hand corner at the bottom of your browser. If you see an arrow, click it and it will open it up. You can minimize it at any time you want as well. If you still do not see it, feel free to email me (click contact me or send me a private message) and tell me what browser you are on. On the bar, "Deals Now" should be between Stumble It! and Translate. We've posted 4 different sales, free game giveaways today and we'll try to showcase special deals as much as we can with the button. To address any concerns regarding the Meebo bar and page load speed, the Meebo bar loads in the background while the rest of the site loads and its a very small file -- so it have very minimal impact on the page load speeds of Gamezebo. We have tested it a lot and it does not slow our site down. Over the past month, our crack team of engineers have worked very hard to improve the speed of the web site, including loading screen shots on walkthrough pages only when you scroll over them (so you don't have to wait for 100 images to load to see a page); adding caching software on the server to speed up the site; and loading site content before any modules. For the latter, click on any page, and you will notice, the text always loads now before images or modules. The result has been page load speeds that are twice as fast as they were in some cases from before when we worked on this big internal project. Our goal with the Meebo bar is to offer a second layer of navigation for current and new users to highlight key parts of the web site and to offer features that are unique to Gamezebo. So, you'll notice we have taken off common buttons like "Facebook" since there are a lot of other ways to share and like content on Gamezebo. Instead, we have added a "Translate" bar that allows anyone coming from around the world to enjoy Gamezebo content in over 30 languages, courtesy of Google Translate. We have special buttons showing any new game and upcoming game updated to our web site at any time. And now, we have the new "Deals Now!" button. You can find hundreds of free games and price drops daily if you click on our Price Drops page and then sort by your favorite genre or device (e.g., PC only). For instance, any Big Fish Daily Deal automatically shows up. The goal of our Deals Now button is to allow our editors to feature special deals in our price drops section and deals that game companies write us about and offer us exclusively for Gamezebo users in one place from any page on the Web site. The deals are time sensitive, so this button is a shortcut to find out about special deals. When we post a special deal, a small window will open to notify you...but you will also be able to click to view. It's yet another experimental feature we are adding to showcase the best game deals on the Web so I hope you experience and enjoy it.

I generally access Gamezebo from my mobile devices and I do not have access to the Meebo bar from my iPhone or iPad. I check Gamezebo daily and I wish I could access all of your features easily. It is very frustrating that I can't do so, I like the sight but I wish the deals button was easily found, accessible and available to everyone and the fact that it is not seems counterproductive to the purpose of the site.

@cella, I'll look into whether the Meebo bar can be viewed on an iPad. It's Safari, so it should be able to, but again, it's worth me checking. Just a FYI, the next project we are working on now is creating a mobile version of Gamezebo for the iPhone, Android, etc. The mobile version will actually have less features to the site at first because we are going to design it around the form factor of the phone. But, the benefit will be the content and features we do provide will be designed around the size of the phone screen and the type of things you want to do on your phone. I hope you'll like the optimization we'll do to the mobile site to make Gamezebo better on the iPhone than it is now. There actually will be some features that are unique to it as well...you'll see what I mean. For now, we will not create an iPad optimized version since the screen size is so big and the web site should work just as well on the iPad as it does on a PC and Mac. The best way to find the most game deals on Gamezebo is to go to our Price Drops section where you can sort by genre and platform. We are taking over 8 price and product feeds from the biggest game sites out there (Google Android, Apple iTunes, Big Fish, Gamers Gate, GameHouse, Wild Tangent, etc) and automatically displaying any game that price in price or is free. We are also showing games that are on sale that day since most sales last less then a day. We can't replicate the "Deals Now" button outside of the Meebo Bar as of now because it requires us to manually add deals to the button. If its successful as part of the bar, it may be a feature we add in future (but we have a lot other cool stuff planning to add in meantime). Thanks!

If you have NoScript activated in Firefox, it will block Meebo and meebocdn.net. You can temporarily allow and see if you want it. There is a hide button on the right edge of the Meebo bar
