November Software is a brand new social gaming studio made up of former employees of LucasArts. Though newly formed, the San Francisco-based company has already announced its first game: the multi-platform Inemeri: A Familiar World, a game that aims to combine the production values of a AAA console game with the accessibility of social games.

Previously, members of the studio worked on the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed series, on both art and technology.

“We are gamers and we want to take what we know and love about next-gen games: the deep immersion, high-fidelity atmosphere, multi-layered skill based mechanics, and bring them into the casual social gaming world.” said co-founder Szymon Swistun. “At first we felt a bit out of our element in terms of the social gaming paradigms, but after spending countless nights refining our design we now feel we are on the verge of creating a new style of game-play that is really collaborative and fun.”

Inemeri will be going into a closed beta later this summer, and will eventually be released on the iPhone, iPad, and web browsers.
