Not content with 10 acquisitions over the past 10 months, Zynga has added yet another company to its roster: MarketZero, the team behind popular online portals like PokerTableRankings.com.
Zynga doesn’t plan to take over MarketZero’s exisitng sites and businesses, but instead will be utilizing the team’s expertise to further improve Zynga Poker, currently the fourth most popular game on Facebook.
“Having transformed the way that people play online poker through focusing on user experience and security, the MarketZero team is ready to bring its expertise and know-how to the world’s largest online poker game, Zynga Poker,” the company said in a statement.
The news comes just one day after Zynga announced that Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg would be joining its board of directors.
