We’ve had some time to go hands on with Bakery Story, and while it’s essentially little more than a re-skinning of Restaurant Story, it’s also a game that manages to retain all of the charm and fun of its predecessor. Players will run their own bakery, prepare baked goods, and serve food to waiting customers.
The baking-themed twist means that players will be serving up cakes and tarts instead of spaghetti and salads. Some decorations too, such as cake and pie displays, will offer up a distinctly baked goods vibe. Bakery Story might just offer up the perfect distraction to pass the time while your Christmas cookies are in the oven this holiday season.
Fans of Restaurant Story will definitely want to check out this free offering when it hits the App Store this Thursday, December 2nd.
