I COMPLETELY agree. I have not liked one Youda game yet, and I love time management games. They really need to prove themselves already.

I played the beta for this game as it was really fun, even to the extent it makes you (me) use your brain

Hey Car (Don),
I think you and I are pretty similar in likes/dislikes as I see we're always commenting on pretty much the same games both on here and Playfirst's site.

This one wasn't bad. It's very different from the Camper & Farmer games in that you build your seaside "city" with different buildings/services and none of that rushing to pick up deliveries like in Farmer. I didn't like Camper at all and Farmer was frustrating with the pickup/deliveries. This one, you definitely have to think and plan out your docks in order to get the jumbo ships (which I didn't have time to figure out in the testing). This I think will be a good one but then again, I'm always a huge advocate of buying at a discount! LOL -
I was sent the beta for Youda Marine game but I was not able to get past the loading part of it. Kinda dissappointed that I was not able to try it.

I really enjoyed this game. I loved being able to build my own Marina and the gameplay didn't get too hectic. I'll buy if/win it gets to Bigfish.

I'm with yah littleone on the load thing, and I have a five month old laptop and it took over an hour to install and when it did eventually get out of load mode it had used up half the play time. Maybe, like brenissa, when it gets to Big Fish, I might try to use their installer instead. At least it's more stable when it come to installing a game.

I played the beta, and really like it for the time I was allow to play (one hour), nice graphics, good music, nice game play layout, unlike the other two Youda, this is a much "normal" game, no head scratching.
Badger and Littleone, I didn't have any loading problem on my Dell Vista, did you let the developer know about the loading issue?

I know what you mean. I was never able to get the game to come up. It downloaded fine, but that was it. When it said loading, it never loaded.

Hi all, I played a demo of this one and I rather liked it. Its not anything completely new to the TM genre, but it was fun and quite addictive. My only hope is that its longer than Youda Farmer. Which might have been a decent game if it took more than an hour to finish it.

Completely agreed that anything Youda has turned me off so far however I did try the demo of Youda Marina last night and found it not too bad. I'll probably buy it as it's pretty tough to get anything good in the TM genre right now and Marina is different, if nothing else.
I found having to keep up with allowing boats in took away from the time required to actually develop the marina however that's probably due to being a newbie at the game. It's a great improvement over the previous two Youda games, Camper which I bought and then deeply regretted and Farmer I tried and said UGH, not for me.
Try the demo carfixer and give us your take on it k?

I'll probably give it a try, but Youda Games has yet to prove itself to me. The graphics of Youda Farmer were great, but I didn't think the gameplay was that stellar. And Youda Camper was a bit of a head scratcher.
So, I guess I'm trying to reserve judgement until I try the demo.
