I bought the game and I'm at the same place.  Looks likes it's less than halfway through.  Good game, though!

I got as far as the Maritime Museum before my demo ran out.  I'd like to know about where in the game this is?  Is it less than 1/2 way through?  If I'm going to buy the game, I'd like at least half of it to be left.  Wink

My computer can do everything but the dishes, but I do have a problem with this game running a bit slow.  However, slow is something I can keep up with, so enjoy!
hello everyone that has posted so far. the walk through mentioned previously is worth taking a look at. i like the idea mimi88 has of trying it in different languages. since there is no time limit i think it would be rather fun and educational at the same time. i do have a question though before i buy (still have 4 minutes on trial to decide) is anyone having a problem with the game being slow? or do you all have really powerful ram..enjoy the gaming and i will check back to see if anyone can give me a pointer..gizmo

I have clicked about where the bandaid was till I'm blue in the face, and I still can't find the pen.!  Somebody help while I still have a few strands of hair on my head!  Please!!!

I really love this game, but one thing is driving me crazy (just one thing? you may well ask).  In the maritime museum, I cannot find the pen nor the bandaid!  Help!

The bandaid is on the sail and the pen is above the bandaid, it looks like a spar.

  • You're asking about the pen

    Report as Inappropriate

You're asking about the pen that is inside the Maritime Museum, right? If I recall correctly, it's gigantic, almost the full length of the room, and brown. If you look in the walkthru by clicking on the green Tips & Tricks tab just above the whitespace on this page and you click on the screenshot that shows the diamonds, the highest diamond on the left is just underneath it, and then there is a diagnoal line with two more diamonds (so three altogether) that are like a line underneath the pen. At least I think that was it! If that's not it, try the smaller black line in the same area. But I think the black line is the clip for the big pen. Let us know if that's it!

    Hi Gdrtyk..

The amulet has to fit exactly on the map.. it's a part of the map, so try to look where the amulet fits... The one at the bottom right has to be placed on top in the middle..

You're able to enlarge the screenshot in the Walkthru and you'll see the long blue arrow pointing in that direction.

    Good luck

The amulets can certainly be frustrating! As Levendig mentioned, if you click on one of the screenshots in the Gamezebo walkthru, you will be able to see a larger version.

The amulet on the bottom right has a little shape on its lower left edge that looks sort of like a door with a window in it. If you look at the very tip of the blue arrow drawn on the screenshot, it is pointing to that door shape on the map. Line those up so the door in the amulet is over the door on the map, and the amulet should click into place.

    Good luck!

    Hi Renni....goodmorning..

No I didn't have had any probs. saving the game and I've played it twice..

Guess you've to contact the Customer Service where you've purchased the game and they are able to help you out...

Otherwise you might try to reinstall the game...

    Good luck and happy weekendWink

sparki... read your amulet instructions, sorry I'm more confused.  Found placement for 4 amulets, just cannot find the correct placement for the 5th one.  Have place all over the map has not locked into any place as of yet.  Have also checked Tips and Tricks...no luck..still need help placing 5th amulet.  Can anyone please help?

Love the game...want to go to Amsterdam now. I'm at the amulets and can't get them placed...can anyone help.

    Thanks

Once you properly place an amulet, it will lock into place. Top center is the amulet that resembles an airplane (on the white grid, just left of the gold circle); to the left and angled a tad goes the amulet with diagonal lines--it goes over the bridge area's first white area; 3rd amulet mostly 3 straight lines goes down about 2" from 2nd amulet and also in the "river" coordinates, just at the edge of the city streets; 4th amulet with 2 vertical lines and a block w/horizontal line goes to the right and up a tad (about 2.5") just to the left of the large horizontal block with white blocks inside; and last amulet, resembling a key or animal with 3 legs..lol; goes up from 4th amulet about 1/2", and to right of the gold circle near top, and just barely touching the slightly arced green areas.  Hope that isn't too confusing, and if all else fails, check out BFG's blog walkthrough for screenshot. Good luck!
