Is it the scene on the desk by the computer? That was a tricky scene for many of us. If it is, click on the computer and take the swab and move it on the computer keys. You can go to gamezebos main page and up above it says tips and tricks, click there, then scroll down to the bottom left and choose W at it will take you to the tips for Women's Murder Club. If this doesn't help answer your question from the tips and tricks, ask again and someone here should have an answer for you.

It seems to me, you run the blacklight over the desk and see the sparkley spot. Click on the desk to make it a close-up view. Click on the computer (Keyboard) and see sparkly spot. While you have a close-up of the keyboard, run the blacklight over the keyboard(I think it's left side)carefully and you'll see greedrops. Use the swab on them. You take the sample from the keyboard eventhough it makes you think you are suppose to swab the desk. I hope this helps.

I am having the exact same problem! I have found the specimin! That is not the problem! The swab WILL NOT pick up the specimin! It just stays there on the desk! It's driving me crazy too as I cannot continue on with the game! Anyone else having this problem with PICKING UP the specimin???

Hi All!,Regarding he Cotton Swab
I've bumped up all the information that has been given on the cotton swab since the game came out. Please take a moment and read the other topics named "Investigation 8" in this forum.
If after you've read all the information available and you still can't pick it up. You may want to contact the company you got the game from because most likely you have a glitch in your game.Thanks

shine the light on the table.find the green goo.
click on the green goo again to make it stay on the table so u can pick it up with the q tip and the light disappears or does it go back into your inventory i can't remember anyway i hope that helps best wishes audrey xx
