Game Introduction - Witches' Legacy: The Charleston Curse

Welcome to the Witches' Legacy: The Charleston Curse walkthrough on Gamezebo. Witches' Legacy: The Charleston Curse is a Hidden Object Game played on the PC created by EleFun Games. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints and a strategy guide on how to complete Witches' Legacy: The Charleston Curse.

General Tips

This hidden object game requires visiting several locations and using inventory items to advance play.

  • Play is mostly linear although there are some options for the order in which to explore locations.
  • Begin play by selecting a mode:
    • Regular - Hint and Skip button recharge faster. Active zones are highlighted by sparkles.
    • Expert - Hint and Skip buttons recharge slower. Active zones are not indicated.
  • Change play mode by creating a new profile.
  • Hidden object scenes contain items listed in green lettering. These items require an extra step to find.
  • The "Goals" tab helps direct play.
  • The Journal contains information that adds to the storyline and helps solve puzzles. Be sure and pick up pieces of paper and drawings in a scene to add to the journal.
  • Always move the cursor around a scene. Watch the cursor to see if it changes into a hand or magnifying glass.

Walkthrough Tips

  • CAPITALIZED inventory items are meant to make it easier to find where this guide may deviate from your own play. Inventory items are highlighted in blue with a white border in the screenshots.
  • If you don't have an item referenced in this guide, click and hold the "Ctrl" key and then press the "F" key. This opens a Find area in your web browser. Type in the name of the object as it appears in this guide to find where else it's referenced.
  • To minimize back and forth moves, all available inventory items in a scene are picked up when first encountered.

Chapter 1: Escaping the Attic

The Car

  • Open the sealed letter on the dashboard.
  • Look at the drawing and read the letter. The information is added to the journal.
  • Go forward.

Screen Navigation

  • Click the Goals tab to see the current task (A).
  • The Journal (A) is a good reference to review the storyline and search for clues to help solve puzzles and achieve goals.
  • Change options, exit to the main menu or resume a paused game from the Menu tab (B).

Game Play

  • Pick up the STICK (D). It is added to inventory.
  • Look closer at the bell pull (F).
  • Take the STICK from inventory. Use it to remove the spider and its web. Pull the red ball.
  • Speak to the girl (B) to begin exploring the house.

The Attic

  • Pick up the FLASHLIGHT on the table (A).
  • Peer into the cubbyhole (B). Use the FLASHLIGHT to illuminate the SCREWDRIVER and drawing.

  • Picking up the note cues an interactive journal entry (A). Click the journal and watch the cut scene. Click the drawing to add it to the journal.
  • The scene can be viewed again in the journal by clicking the orange arrow (C).
  • Note the symbols the child drew on the house (D).
  • Use the SCREWDRIVER to remove the SCREW on the hasp on the chest.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • The items listed in green indicate an extra step must be taken to get the object. Move the cursor around scene to help locate these objects. The cursor turns into a hand over an interactive object.
  • Tap the chipmunk (A) to encourage it to release its Nut. Move the mask (B) to reveal a Skull. Strum the instrument then take the Broken String (C).
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Record is added to inventory as a VINYL RECORD.

  • Take the LADDER (A)
  • Inspect the gramophone (B). Place the VINYL RECORD on the turntable to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to turn the knobs (green) to the correct position. Refer to the drawing in the journal (C) for the direction for each knob.
  • The left knob rotates all three knobs. The center knob only turns the center the knob. The right knob turns both the center and right knob.
  • To solve the puzzle, rotate the left knob until it is in the correct position. Next, rotate the right knob to the correct position. Rotate the center knob last. Click the red switch to turn on the gramophone and open a compartment in the side.
  • Examine the contents of the compartment (D). Take the GIRL'S CAMEO and the piece of paper under it for the journal.
  • Look at the painting of the rose on the wall (E). Add the GIRL'S CAMEO to open a puzzle.

  • The goal is to use the empty slot to help slide the pictures to form the correct family tree.
  • Review the journal entry to help see where the pictures belong. Another indication is the frame shape of each cameo and the shapes on the board. A correctly placed cameo lights up.
  • Solution. Slide the cameos from the first lettered position to the second. D-E, B-D, A-B, C-A, F-C, E-F, B-E, D-B, E-D.
  • Zoom in on the open hatch in the floor. Use the LADDER to escape.

Chapter 2: Helping Lynn Leave the House

Attic Hallway

  • Open the cabinet drawer. Take the BUTTERFLY (1/5) and the page from an address book.
  • Go forward.

Hallway

  • Examine the window (A). Take the SALINE SOLUTION.
  • Pick up the drawing on the floor (B).
  • Play the hidden object scene (C).

  • Open the pink box (A) to find the Ring. Turn on the lamp (B) to see the Dragonfly. Open the drawer (C) and take the Brush.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The GARGOYLE is added to inventory.
  • Go forward to the top of the stairs. Turn right toward the French doors.

Right Hallway

  • Take the KNIFE from the picture.
  • Return to the top of the stairs. Go to the left.

Left Hallway

  • Look at the window sill (A). Take the PIANO KEY (1/3) and open the curtains.
  • Inspect the doorknob (B).
  • Zoom in on the first aid box (C). Use the KNIFE to slit the tape on the right. Pull away the loose tape on the left to open the box.

  • Place the SALINE SOLUTION on the drop-down door to start a puzzle.
  • The goal is to create a cold remedy by following the directions on the notepad (A).
  • Put the funnel (2) in the mouth of the saline solution bottle. Use the spoon to add the red and blue powder.
  • Turn the notebook page. It shows there is sediment in the bottom of the solution.
  • Turn to the next page (B). Put the empty bottle next to the solution. Put the funnel in the mouth of the empty bottle. Place the piece of cheesecloth (6) over the funnel. Pour the contents of the solution into the empty bottle. Remove the cheesecloth containing the sediment.
  • Take the completed COLD REMEDY (C).
  • Pour the COLD REMEDY on the sick doorknob to enter the room.

Office

  • Zoom in on the bureau (A). Look closer at the teacup. Take the SUGAR.
  • Examine the documents on the desk (B).
  • Check out the mask to open a puzzle (C).

  • Although the directions are unclear about where the white marbles should be placed, it doesn't work if they aren't placed in the outside slots. See the dashed inset for the solution.
  • Use the arrows to rotate the disks and swap the positions of the marbles.
  • Solution. Click the arrows in the follow order: C, D, A, D, B, D, C.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Look through the microscope (A) to see the Amoeba. Click the mechanism (B) three times to get the Lightening. Use the magnifying glass (C) to see the Fingerprint on the hand.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Ring is saved in inventory as a SIGNET RING.

  • Look closer at the small box (A). Click the key to open it.
  • Give the Imp the SUGAR cube. Pick up the SCREW LOCK KEY.

  • Examine the electrical panel (A).
  • Take the BUTTERFLY (1/5).
  • Use the SCREW LOCK KEY to open the panel (white).
  • Take the OIL CAN.

Right Hallway

  • Zoom in on the box on the chair (A). Take the packing slip for the journal.
  • Insert the SIGNET RING to open the lock (B). Remove the packing material from the box.
  • Take the MECHANISM PIECE (C).

Office

  • Look at the desk.
  • Put the MECHANISM PIECE on the device to start a puzzle.

  • The goal is to retract all four bars into the left side.
  • The key is knowing how the bars affect the others:
    • 1 - 1 and 3 in opposite directions.
    • 2 - 2 and 4 in the same direction.
    • 3 - 3 and 4 in opposite directions.
    • 4 - 1 and 4 in the same direction.
  • The best strategy is to first align two bars that move in the same direction (1 and 4 or 2 and 4) and retract them. Use an opposite to retract bar 2 (the only bar attached to just one other bar). Repeat the first two steps.
  • Solution. Press the left or right buttons associated with the bars as follows:
    • 1 - Left.
    • 4 - Right.
    • 2 - Left 5x.
    • 3 - Left 4x.
    • 4 - Left 4x.
  • Take the WINDOW HANDLE from the compartment.
  • Exit the office.

Left Hallway

  • Examine the window.
  • Place the WINDOW HANDLE in the slot.
  • Raise the window to gain entrance to the tree house.

Chapter 3: Exploring the Backyard

Tree House

  • Look closer at the sketch pad.
  • Take the BUTTERFLY (3/5).
  • Look through the pages for clues and journal entries.
  • Use the KNIFE to release the rope.

Backyard

  • Go forward.

Graveyard

  • Speak with Lynn (A).
  • Look at the base of the large grave marker (B). Take the SHEARS PART.

Backyard

  • Look at the tree roots (A).
  • Take the BUTTERFLY (4/5).
  • Put the SHEARS PART on the broken shear handle. Put the SCREW in the hole between the blades. Use the SCREWDRIVER to repair the SHEARS.

Graveyard

  • Use the SHEARS to remove the roots at the base of the large grave marker.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Move the leaf (A) to find the Anchor. Use the cloth to clean off the marker and reveal North America (B). Feed the snake an egg from the nest (C) to reach the Crystal.
  • Find the rest of the objects. The CROWBAR is added to inventory

Backyard

  • Use the CROWBAR to open the box.
  • Take the SAW HANDLE.
  • Climb the rope ladder to the tree house.

Tree House

  • Affix the SAW HANDLE to the saw blade embedded in the tree.
  • Use the OIL CAN to free the SAW.
  • Reenter the house.

Top of Stairs

  • Use the CROWBAR to pry up the floor board (A).
  • Take the LOCK PIECE and drawing.

Right Hallway

  • Zoom in on the double doors.
  • Use the SAW to saw through the board holding the doors shut.
  • Look out the doors.

  • Pick up the BUTTERFLY (5/5).
  • Take the message from the pigeon's leg (B).
  • Remove the top of the lantern (C). Put the five BUTTERFLIES inside the lantern. Replace the top. Take the LANTERN.

Top of Stairs

  • Go toward the dark cloud on the stairs.
  • Place the LANTERN on a step to dissipate the cloud.
  • Continue downstairs.

Chapter 4: Exploring the First Floor

First Floor Landing

  • Watch the cut scene and get a new goal.
  • Check out the first floor destinations.
  • Go left toward the front door.

Front Door

  • Look at the stuffed bear on the bench.
  • Use the KNIFE to slit the stitches. Take the SPOKE.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Click the lamp to create the Genie Turban (A). Drag the three white candles to the slots in the Candelabra (B).
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The DOORKNOB is added to inventory.

Dining Room

  • Pick up the drawing from the couch (A).
  • Take the RAG on the table (B).
  • Examine the door lock (C). Insert the SPOKE to open a puzzle.

  • The goal is to use the two gold brackets and gold button (yellow) to recreate the symbol shown in the upper right corner (pink). Use the directional arrows attached to the spoke to move the button.
  • The silver brackets are used to help position the small gold bracket and the gold button. Place the gold button inside a bracket to move it.
  • First clear a path to maneuver the gold bracket (A). Align the silver brackets to move the gold bracket to the right (B). Move the gold bracket and ball to the top square (C). It automatically moves over to the symbol. Click the door handle to open the door.

Library

  • Use the CROWBAR to loosen the boards on the clock (A). Take the four NAILS.
  • Take a book from the bookshelf (B). Turn to page 127 and take the telegram. Turn to page 132 and take the drawing fragment.
  • Pick up the PIANO KEY (2/3) from the table (C).
  • Play the hidden object scene (D).

 The Charleston Curse

  • Open the box (A) to find the Dragon. Pour the poison on the roots of the rose bush (B). The rose bush withers providing a Faded Rose and a view of objects behind it. Get the Compass (D) and the Knight (E).
  • Find the rest of the objects. The KNIGHT is added to inventory.
  • Return to the first floor landing.
  • Insert the GARGOYLE and KNIGHT in the impression on the cellar door to trigger a puzzle.

 The Charleston Curse

  • The goal is to clear a path for the key teeth to reach the right side.
  • The best strategy is to solve one section at a time. Move the key when a partial path is cleared to make room for pieces to slide. Any piece can be slide horizontally or vertically.
  • The above screenshots show the final position of the top section (A) and the bottom section (B).

Cellar

  • Dip the RAG in the puddle of water at the foot of the stairs. Pick up the WET RAG.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Use the key to unlock the bottle containing the Broach (A). Remove the top of the bottle-shaped case (B) to uncover the hidden bottle of Red Wine.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Clock Hands are added to inventory as a CLOCK ARROW.

Front Door

  • Use the WET RAG to remove the symbol on the door.

Chapter 5: Hunting for the Secret Passage

 The Charleston Curse

  • Pick up the ROPE LADDER.
  • Head left and continue to the barn.

Barn Exterior

  • Look in the cart. Pick up the HAMMER
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Open the case (A) to find the Teddy Bear. Use the crowbar to remove the nails (B). Find the hidden Snowflake under the board. Break the bottle with the hammer (C) to get the hidden Star.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The STAINED-GLASS PART is added to inventory.
  • Go back to the side of the house

Side Window

  • Zoom in on the window.
  • Use the HAMMER to remove the pin and gain entrance to the hidden room.

Bricked-up Room

  • Pick up the piece of paper from the table and the drawing from the bed.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Turn on the radio (A) to get the Music Notes.
  • Find the rest of the hidden objects. The Handle is added to inventory as a KNOB.
  • Return to the upstairs. Continue down the hall to the attic landing.

Attic Hallway

  • Inspect the door with the hand prints on it.
  • Put the door plate in place. Add the NAILS and HAMMER them in. Insert the KNOB to start a puzzle.
  • The goal is to click the Zodiac signs in the correct order. An incorrect click will reset the puzzle.

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Put the propeller (A) on the Airplane. Add the two parts (B) and (C) to the base of the Eiffel Tower.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Bolt Cutters are added to inventory as NIPPERS.
  • Return to the barn. The door to the barn isn't locked!

Barn Interior

  • Zoom in on the door at the back.
  • Use the NIPPERS to cut the chain.

Studio

  • Pick up the IGNITION FLUID from the floor.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Pop the top off the canister (A) to find the Red Cube. The Tangerine is hidden in the pink box (B).
  • Find the rest of the hidden objects. The TWEEZERS are added to inventory.

Lynn's Room

  • Zoom in on the drawer in the tea table.
  • Use the OIL CAN to loosen the tumblers.
  • The journal contains the combination.
  • Enter the four digits (7285) and open the drawer (A).
  • Take the AMULET FRAGMENT (1/3) and the drawing.
  • Use the TWEEZERS to open the compartment in the bottom of the drawer (B). Take the STAINED-GLASS PART.

Hallway

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Use the scissors to remove the Button from the hat (A). Put the coffee beans (B) in the mortar. Grind them with the pestle (C). Open the drawer (D) to find the Valentine.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The SILVER CHAIN is added to inventory.

Front Door

  • Look at the lock on the toolbox.
  • Insert the LOCK PIECE to open a puzzle (A).
  • The goal is the figure out the correct code sequence by inputting four numbers and testing them with the lock piece. Correct numbers briefly flash green.
  • Solution. 3-2-1-4-5.
  • Take the FORMED KEY from the tool box (B).
  • Go back to the bottom of the stairs.

First Floor Landing

  • Zoom in on the crate on the right.
  • Insert the FORMED KEY in the slot.
  • Take the SPRAY.

Studio

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Use the rag to clean off the board and reveal a Flower (A). Put the figure on the horse (B) and take the Horseman.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The AXE is added to inventory.
  • Zoom in on the work table.
  • Put the PUZZLE PIECE in the center of the board to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to arrange the pieces to form a picture.
  • Start with the outside pieces and place them based on where they fit in the oval. Add the other pieces based on shape and color. A correctly place piece locks into position.
  • Big hint: The tiny red piece is the horse's forelock (the part between its ears)

  • Click the picture (A) to open the box.
  • Take the drawing and STAINED-GLASS PART from the compartment (B).
  • Return to the top of the stairs. Go right.

Right Hallway

  • Look at the circle above the door.
  • Insert the two STAINED-GLASS PARTS to complete the design and unlock the door.

  • Pick up the drawing on the floor (A).
  • Remove the cover from the bird cage (B). Take the papers inside.
  • Play the hidden object scene (C).

  • Raise the broken sunglasses (A) to find a Glass Eye.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Bird Foot Medal is saved in inventory as a BIRD'S PAW.
  • Return down the hallway past the top of the stairs to the left hallway. Enter the office.

Office

  • Zoom in on the cupboard.
  • Insert the BIRD'S PAW in the inset (A). Click to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to pull out the correct combination of drawers.
  • Refer to the drawing in the journal (B) for the solution. The order in which the drawers are opened doesn't matter. See the inset for the solution (C).
  • The cupboard slides away to reveal the secret passage to a hidden room.

Chapter 6: Defeating the Witch

 The Charleston Curse

Secret Room

  • SPRAY the room to remove the bugs (A).
  • Read the book (B) and take the drawing.
  • Move the chair (C) over to the desk to reach the shelf (D).
  • Remove the cobwebs to get the bottle of BLOOD.
  • Exit the room.

Office

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Use the matches to ignite the burner in the Steam machine. Paint the Red Anchor with the paintbrush (B).
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The CAT FOOD is added to inventory.

Barn Exterior

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Move the plant (A) covering the Vinyl Record. Add the spoke (B) to the Wheel.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The SHOVEL is added to inventory.

  • Chop the WOOD with the AXE (A).
  • Take the paper off the wall (B).
  • Feed the CAT FOOD to the hungry cat (C). Take the CHALK from its neck.
  • Return to the left upstairs hallway. Exit the window. Continue to the graveyard.

Graveyard

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Use the mallet (A) to get the Broken Mirror. Tap the pinecones (B) to retrieve the Nut.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Valve is added to inventory as a GRAVE KEY.

  • Use the SHOVEL to unearth the grave (A).
  • Open the coffin with the GRAVE KEY (B).
  • Slit the pocket with the KNIFE and take the KNOB (C).

Right Hallway

  • Examine the safe on the wall (A).
  • Insert the two KNOBS to start a puzzle (B).
  • The goal is to remove the runes, four at a time, from the door of the safe.
  • The runes can be removed horizontally or vertically. The pattern of the runes does not need to match.
  • Solution. Remove the vertical sets outlined in green above. Remove the two remaining sets (yellow) horizontally.
  • Take the AMULET FRAGMENT (2/3) and the CLOCK WEIGHT from the safe (C).

Library

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Click the image in the book to get the Flame (A). Lift the lid on the bowl (B) and take the Orange.
  • Find the rest of the objects. The FUNNEL is added to inventory.

  • Zoom in on the grandfather clock (A).
  • Hang the CLOCK WEIGHT. Use the HAMMER to smash the glass on the face.
  • Put the CLOCK ARROW on the face. Refer to the journal for the time at which to set the hands.
  • Solution. Click the minute hand. Click "VI". Click the hour hand. Click "X" (B).
  • Take the VALVE and SHEET MUSIC from the hidden compartment (C). Pick up the document (green) for the journal.

Front Door

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Open the case (A) and take the Film Reel. Continue clicking the straw (B) until it forms a Straw Doll.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The MATCHES are added to inventory.

Bricked-up Room

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Add the two roses to the vase for a Rose Bouquet (A). Remove the cover (B) to find the Medallion.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The PITCHFORK STICK is added to inventory.

Cellar

  • Look at the shelves on the back wall.
  • Insert the PITCHFORK STICK into the tines. Take the PITCHFORK.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Put the light on the Miner's Helmet. Use the pliers to remove the wire (B) on the Rope Ladder.
  • Find the rest of the objects. The SUN KEY is added to inventory.

Storeroom

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Open the bag to find the horse (A). Attach the hook to get a Rope with Hook (B). Use the scissors on the tie (C) to get a Frayed Tie.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The PIANO KEY (3/3) is added to inventory
  • Pick up the drawing on the floor.

Barn

  • Use the PITCHFORK to remove the pile of hay.
  • Pick up the drawing and GAS CAN.
  • Head back to the front of the house. Go right.
  • Go past the car to the shed.

Chapter 7: Searching for the Dungeon

Shed Exterior

  • Pick up the CAR KEY

Possessed Tree

  • Inspect the gap in the bark (A).
  • Use the CHALK to open a puzzle.
  • Trace the symbol with the chalk in one continuous line.

The Car

  • Open the car door (A).
  • Inspect the buttons on the dashboard. Press the button to open the trunk.
  • Look inside the trunk (B). Take the STRAP and JACK.
  • Open the cover for the gas tank (C). Put the FUNNEL in the hole. Pour the contents of the GAS CAN into the tank. Remove the FUNNEL and close the cover. With the price of fuel these days, there's no point in starting the car yet. There are other things to do before the car is really needed.

Barn Exterior

  • Examine the broken cart.
  • Place the JACK under the missing wheel (A) and hoist up the cart.
  • Take the HOSE from under the cart.

Cellar

  • Look at the pipes on the side of the wall.
  • Use the HOSE to repair the pipes.
  • Open the valve to restore the running water.

Bricked-up Room

  • Zoom in on the sink.
  • Put the VALVE on the spigot and turn on the water.
  • Take the PAN WITH WATER.

Dining Room

  • Go to the broken piano (A).
  • Place the SHEET MUSIC and PIANO KEYS (3/3) to trigger a puzzle.
  • The goal is to play the keys in the correct order to open a secret compartment.
  • A correct key turns the note blue on the sheet music. Striking an incorrect key resets the puzzle.
  • Solution. Press the numbered keys in this order: 3, 2, 4, 5, 1, 2, 4.
  • Take the AMULET FRAGMENT (3/3).

 The Charleston Curse

  • Start a fire in the fireplace (A). Lay the WOOD on the grate. Douse it with IGNITION FLUID. Strike a MATCH to get it going.
  • Put the PAN WITH WATER on the grill (B). Remove its mysteriously appearing lid. Add the ingredients in this order: BLOOD, AMULET FRAGMENTS (3/3) and SILVER CHAIN. The magic AMULET is automatically added to inventory.
  • Take the PAN WITH MAGIC WATER (C).

Lynn's Room

  • Zoom in on the doll (A).
  • Pour the contents of the PAN WITH MAGIC WATER over the doll. Take the METAL ROSE.
  • Play the hidden object scene (B).

  • Open the bag (A) to get the Pearl. Click the ribbon on the bear (A) until it turns into a Bow.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The STATUE is added to inventory.

Storeroom

  • Use the SUN KEY to open the cabinet.
  • Add the STATUE to start a puzzle.
  • The goal is to arrange the weighted statues so all platforms are on the same level. See the next screenshot for the solution.

Car

  • Enter the car.
  • Put the CAR KEY in the ignition and start the car.
  • Point straight ahead to ram the shed.

  • Drop the ROPE LADDER over the bar to enter the well.
  • Go forward to the bridge.

Bridge

  • Use the STRAP to repair the ropes.

Dungeon Door

  • Place the METAL ROSE and ROSE LEAF in the inset on the door to open a puzzle (A).
  • Flip back through the journal to the entry showing the picture of the rose in the attic (dashed green). Click the joints of the rose until it looks similar to the picture.
  • The rose will glow when it is correctly positioned. The door opens.

Dungeon

  • Put the AMULET on the witch.
  • Watch the final cutscenes.

  • Enter the grounds.

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Move the vines (A) to find the Lightning Bolt. Remove the doll (B) and open the chest to pick up the Scissors.

  • Look closer at the blocked entrance at the top of the stairs (E).
  • Put the PICKAXE on the entrance to open a puzzle.
  • The goal is to use the pickaxe to enlarge each hole in the cracks from the entrance to the exit.
  • Not all cracks need to be crossed but all holes must be hit.

  • Inspect the tree hollow (C).
  • Remove the leaves in the hollow to uncover a MORTAR (D).
  • Feed the PLANTAIN (3/3) to the hungry caterpillar (E). Take the transformed caterpillar-to-BUTTERFLY (F).

  • Look at the pedestal on the left (A).
  • Insert the MORTAR in the hole. Add the BONES (B). Use the pestle to grind up the bones. Take the BONE DUST.
  • Use the helpful IMP to scamper up the tree (C) and lower the rope ladder.
  • Play the hidden object scene in the nest.

  • Place the baseball in the mitt (A) for the Catcher's Gear. Use the rock to break open the egg (B) and retrieve the Crimson Crystal.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Crimson crystal is added to inventory as a RED STONE.

Overlook

  • Send the IMP into the tree hollow.
  • It returns with a puzzle.

  • The goal is to rotate the stones so the pattern on each stone matches that along the outside of the circle.
  • The hardest part is figuring out which stone matches which pattern. The game developers were kind. The initial stone pattern positions are for the opposite outside pattern in all cases. Rotate the two top stones (A) for the correct solution. The same is true with (B) and (C).
  • The best strategy is to complete the top and bottom stones first.
  • All moves are shown in the following video.

  • Take the YELLOW STONE.

Crossroads

  • Zoom in on the flower by the crystal.
  • Place the BUTTERFLY on the flower. Take the pollinated FLOWER.

Front Yard

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Open the trunk to find the Yarn Ball (A). Put the bottle over the Scorpion to pick it up (B).
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The PAINTBRUSH is added to inventory.
  • Look at the flowerbed. Place the BAG FOR HERBS on the bed to start a puzzle.

  • The goal is to pick all of the flowers and mushrooms.
  • They are linked in triangles and only those with a matching pair can be picked. A possible pick is highlighted when the cursor moves over the bed.
  • The best approach is to find the odd mushroom or flower and pluck that triangle. One solution is shown above.
  • Take the BAG WITH HERBS.

Bottom of the Well

  • Pick up the LONG ROPE.
  • Go to the crossroads. Turn left to the pool.

  • Examine the stone head.
  • Use the PAINTBRUSH to remove the dust (A).
  • Insert the STATUETTE in the inset (B).
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Put the head on the doll's body (A). Attach the parts with the needle and thread (B). Click the spider (C) to remove the web covering it.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The SIEVE is added to inventory.
  • Look into the pool.
  • Place the SIEVE in the pool to open a puzzle.

  • The goal is to use the blue ball to push the gray balls into the holes without dropping the blue ball into a hole.
  • The blue ball stops one square short on the grid than a gray ball and sends the gray ball on a straight trajectory. More than one ball can go into the same hole.

  • The BLUE STONE is automatically added to inventory.

Sanctuary Ruins

  • Look at the first standing stone (A). Insert the YELLOW STONE and FLOWER in the inlays.
  • Inspect the second stand stone (B). Place the BLUE STONE in the inset.
  • Examine the third standing stone (C). Put the RED STONE in the slot.

  • Play the hidden object scene.
  • Use the knife to finishing carving the Heart (A). Open the cover on the Pocket Watch (B).
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The Pitcher is added to inventory as an EMPTY JUG.

Pool

  • Dip the EMPTY JUG in the water. A JUG WITH WATER returns to inventory.
  • Play the hidden object scene.

  • Use the rag to wipe off the dirt and uncover a Dragonfly (A). Attach the wing to the gargoyle (B). It gives you a Ring.
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The CHISEL is added to inventory.

Cave Altar

  • Look at the head to the left of the altar.
  • Take the map. Use the CHISEL to remove the VIOLET STONE.
  • Play the hidden object scene on the altar.

  • Look in the globe to find the Doll and the Ship (A). Remove the glass covering the lightening (B).
  • Find the rest of the listed objects. The BOTTLE WITH BLOOD is added to inventory.

Sanctuary Entrance

  • Look at the pillar on the right.
  • Plant the POISON IVY in the dirt. Use the JUG WITH WATER to water the plant. Take the three BERRIES.

  • Pour some water from the JUG WITH WATER on the second standing stone (A).
  • Insert the BOTTLE WITH BLOOD in the third standing stone (B).
  • Set the VIOLET STONE in the fourth standing stone (C). Sprinkle the BONE DUST over the stone.

  • Add the JUG WITH WATER, BERRIES, BAG WITH HERBS and the AMULET to the vessel in the center of the altar (A).
  • Use the CHALK to draw the fire symbol in one continuous line (B).
