I have been trying to post this in the correct thread, but the site won't let me. Ok, I played the demo. Cute game, great graphics, nice music, hidden objects are huge. There are some interesting mini games. The "spot the differences" scenes were a joke. The "find 15 (or 12 or 20) items" scenes were also very, very easy. Unfortunately, this game is VERY easy (for me). So easy, that it's no challenge at all. I did not read any of the stories about the people in the book. You earn extra hints by clicking on the ? marks found in the scenes - which, btw, are very easy to see since most are very large. I think I had stock piled a gazillion hints after 1 hour. I found a couple glitches in the 1 hour I played the game........ -In the first silhouette HO scene there was a silhouette of what looked like a rounded trinket box. I had to use a hint and it turned out to be a hay sickle. -Once I had 12 hints saved up and when I went to the next location/scene, I was down to 7 hints. Five hints just disappeared. -In some scenes you can't collect your extra hint no mater how many times you click on the ? mark if there is a "hidden object" very close to it. You need to click on the HO first, then you can click on the ? mark. Once again, I think I will pass on a new HO game. Send a Kudo Post a reply Quote & Reply
  • I agree with Scotcat, this

I agree with Scotcat, this is a very easy game, probably finished 3/4 of it in the demo hour. The minigames of shooting at stuff going by is a joke. If you miss they just come around again until you get them. The find parts of a picture were pretty challenging thought. I found one error, similar to Scotcat. It asked for a small tin and the hint produced the scythe. Guess those 2 objects are confused throughout the game. Definitly no worth getting for the mature HO player. Looks like it was designed for very small children.

And I agree with the both of you. This game does have some interesting puzzle games, and is nice BUT way way too short. I finished almost all of it on trial. LOL

This game is way too short and way too easy. I downloaded it from Gamehouse Gamepass and was through with it in about 2 hours. I do have a complaint. Their "clicking on an improper object" really got to me before it was all over especially on the helping Ike find the gold nuggets, helping the bar owner collect the gold nuggets as they float by in the stream and collecting the gold nuggets from the run-away (really?) mine car. I would see one and click on it but miss it. If I clicked on it again, miss it again then click on another one I would get the red screen which completely ruined my chances of getting another one quickly. In the bar owner scene, the nuggets got lower and lower in the field of play until they were almost out of sight and almost impossible to click.
I did like the music and the story was ok. The ending left a lot to be desired as it just kind of stopped.
