there is an award on the second town- (bandit base) you will see an sucken area with 3 cow heads try building a wood hut first then go into that area and build a well - when you do you will get a key- use it on the broken down cabin across the water. you will get another key and a helmet- next to the trade post (behind it) you will se a mine with a lock door build bridge use key

the first town has a secret treasure map, you have to fish in the river and find the first piece, then you just basically have to go to each of the dead cows to get the 5 parts to the messages. The treasure is in the biggest tree in the about the center of the map. You have to get up on the high area to get there.
I've gotten the bee badge by planting enough bee bait flower pots to get Marion to see we ought to build honey bee hives. You'll get a bear for that one.
If you win the disaster challenge, you'll start the next game with a sasquatch.
There is supposed to be a thirsty horse you need to lead to a well to get a challenge to get a sheep badge, but I haven't found him yet.

you have to build all three ranch types and all three farm types to get to the horse and get the challenge to get the sheep
so i've figured out the bee badge and the sheep badge, but still have the third award to figure out ...
help

Thanks again. I did the bee hive one and the horse one, and now I have found the key that unlocks the mine (thanks to you). When I unlocked the mine my hero said something about "pipes" and a "fountain", perhaps that is a clue to the last unknown award. Haven't figured that out yet though. If you figure it out please let me know. Thanks again.

hey gz, have you figured out the third award yet? It is driving me crazy. I have tried building anything and everything to try and find it. The clue says: "someone left 600 planks of wood and 600 gold and some funny plans with a whole lotta pipes involved. Maybe it's for a fountain?" I have built fountains, wells, and water towers, but nothing. Let me know if you figure it out ok? Thanks.

I may be way off base, but I believe the 'pipes' was a free fountain from the store...we still had to pay for building it, but I don't think we had to buy it from the store like the other buildings?????

Which town is the first town? The VERY first town at the beginning or when we're destroying the bandit base?
I still need to find BOTH treasures (the one besides the mine behind the trading post at the bandit base town) and that 200 happiness has eluded me completely!!! Thanks!!!

How did you discover the cow skull and was there some sort of procedure you went through? Actually, I'm looking for for a "Grizelda Tells All" type of person or persons. It's like going to a meeting and finding out that not only does everyone know everybody else, they also know everthing, too. Alas, I didn't get into WW2 until May or June! I am just in awe of your abilities!! Keep dropping little jewels of wisdom (actually wood would be better as I always seem to be running out of it). Thanks!

To find the cow skulls, you have to fish in the river to the north until all the fish are gone. Then you will get a note telling you to find 5 cow skulls. They are located all around in the first town. You have to figure out how to get to the one in the river. You will have to build bridges etc. The other unknown awards are located in other towns. Let me know when you get to one of them. I am still working on the last unknown award and cant for the life of me figure it out, although I think I may be on to something. I hope it works out. Had to start over though.

Hi V, glad to know you are still working on this, so am I. Thanks much for the info on the 200 town happiness. I still have not figured out the third unknown award. I finished the game and started over and when the new game came on I had the sasquatch to help me. I am now trying to get through that game, and then will start another new game and see if they give me something else to help with that third unknown. It is really frustrating me. If I do find it, I will let you know immediately lol. If you find it, please do the same for me. Happy hunting!

i was lookn around after starting over and i think 3rd unknown award has to do with tornado valley but not sure i'll resart again after i get the 8000 gold award (just relized i havent gotten it lol ) i will search the tornado alley and a few other places (im also thinking it can be in the sand box thing ) will let ya know what i find....careful with sasquatch if he dies you gotta start another game to get him back

Hi V, I been thinking about this third award too, and I may be way off base, but because it is 600 wood and 600 gold, and pipes, it may have something to do with building windmills and a fountain in one of the deserts. But where? That is the question. lol. Good luck.

Hi V, just curious if you got the two blank spaces in the general store? If not, build 2 sheep ranches and you will get cloth, build 3 pumpkin farms, and 2 wheat farms and you will get pumpkin pie. Still haven't figured out the unknown award. On one of the cheat pages, someone said something about the "3 amigos" award, and hiring 3 good gunslingers. I did this and nothing happened, so am still working on that third award lol.

whick for some reason after i hired em they had black hats anyway...

The Three Amigos Award- Build a few Saloons (sometimes it takes more than 4 Saloons) staff them with 1 person. Click on Saloon to see which Gunslingers are available to hire. Look for nice Gunslinger(Lone Ranger type) wearing a BLACK hat. Hire nice Gunslinger. If nice Gunslinger doesn't show up then destroy Saloon. Keep building Saloons and placing 1 person at it and click on Saloon to look for 'Lone Ranger' with BLACK hat. Sometimes you will get lucky and 2 nice Gunslingers with BLACK hats will show up. You need to hire 3 'Lone Ranger' type Gunslingers with BLACK hats to get the award

dont hire the clint eastwood look alikes its the ones with the one that look like the good sheriff it was so simple rofl took me 7 saloons but i got it ! now ive completed all the awards and levels woohooooooo

Hi V, many kudos for the 3 award. I have now found all the awards and completed the game. The end of much frustration Yippee!!!!! Thanks again for all your help, couldn't have done it without you. I am now playing again to go all the way through and make sure all my 'empty' blanks are filled. I didn't notice whether all the blanks were filled when you click on your 'build' button, under the 2nd build category. So am doing it again to make sure I haven't missed anything. Like you, I have been nursing the 'creeping crud' too and have been under the weather. But now with renewed energy, I will tackle the game one more time. I can't wait for III either. Hope they come out with it soon. If you find anymore interesting games like this one, please let me know. I do enjoy a challenge. Thanks again for all your help. I also enjoyed Chocolatier 2, if you haven't tried it, you may like it too. It's another tycoon challenge game.

On the build task bar there are two blank spots, on build2 and luxuries.Does anyone know what they are for?

Maria, thanks for the infor on III. I have been wondering about the blank spaces myself. Don't know if there is something that is supposed to go there or not. I am assuming there is something, or why would they leave blank spots? Haven't figured it out yet though. If you do, please let me know. Being Virgo, I hate 'unfinished' games lol.

Hi dionhawki, you have to have all 5 cow skulls to find the treasure. The biggest oak tree you can find (if i remember right) is across the river to the south, and stands all by itself on a ridge. After you find the 5 cow skulls, just go up to the tree and treasure chests will appear automatically. Hope this helps.

1. The Unknown award is "Treasure Hunter" for doing BOTH Treasure hunts in the same pass through.
2. The "pipes" prize for the first treasure hunt means getting the Fountain "Building" unlocked for free. Unfortunately, if you've already bought it, there's no rebate--just the same Gold and Wood.
Note that the fish with the note isn't in any particular place--it's always the last one available to be caught anywhere in Oxbow Bend (the first town you build).
3. The biggest oak tree is all by itself, so you probably haven't even tried to log it--and I suspect it's not accesible to a Wood Hut anyway! Scroll around the map until you find the largest single expanse of branches, about twice the size of anything else available. Then send ANY character--I sent a Gunslinger, since she'd been going to the skulls for me--to the base of the tree. You get a message that you've found the treasure.
4. Probably both hunts, and certainly the second, also pay Experience. This is the only way I avoided having to start over again when I couldn't afford both City Hall and the Railroad Upgrade for the "Mad Russian Scramble" preparations.
