    i need help i when it rains and the top of the lift is filled with water and it is on the ground i drag ppl over there but they wont get on i was wondering how to do it Send a Kudo Post a reply Quote & Reply

    You have to pause the game right when you see rain coming down. Then while the  platform is still at the bottom set a villager on the platform. Unpause. It'll take about 30 seconds for the lift to get to the top.(you'll know when you hit the top when a seed/fruit comes down). Then once the seed/fruit has come down you may take your villager off the platform and put them on the seed. They will either plant the seed (only if you have 1 or 2 trees/plants already) or put it staight into the food bin Hopefully it helps, Mastu

    A few times I've missed out on getting someone there in time, so now I just have someone just stand there on it and wait around till it rains!  They'll stay there and wait for quite a while, occasionally he'll leave but I just put him back. And it has to be someone who's trained. I tried with someone with no kind of job experience once and they didn't bother to get anything out of the tree to plant.
