I don't know what reviewer sherryah means re: the mother-- My mother character works even though she just had a child. Quirky. Anyway, I wasn't expecting The Sims, so I wasn't disappointed. I love everything these people put out. And I love this game. If you go in with no expectations you won't be disappointed. There's more to this game the longer you play it. My favorite way to play is checking in on them a few times throughout the day. It's not the kind of game you probably want to spend a marathon amount of time on in each sitting. It's cute and quirky. I cracked up when I tried o direct one character a bit much with the glove and they told me to quit nagging! ;) too funny and the daughter- when a new child came into the family, she ran off to hide her toys! ;) This is a fun game, I love it.
