Kung Fu trophy-
If your guy is doing kung fu he is probably doing it in the backyard near the back door. That's where I caught my guy doing it.

Get all marrage trophies -The next time you get a marrage proposal and reject it I bring up my task manager and close the program, that way it doesnt save the fact that i opened that email. When you open the game up again a different marrage proposal will be waiting. Just make sure you save your game before you open the email so you dont lose your progress.

Fixing stuff - Fire extinguisher is in the shed, doorknob is in sandbox and key is under the doormat.Plunger is in the laundry room, will fix bathtub and toilet.Wrench is in the red tool chest in the workshop.Tape for the hose, paint for the workshop and the floor repair kit is in the store. Might be awhile before it shows up there. You can use the method I shared in my prior post on the marrage trophies to get the items you want.

I got the doorknob... but cant figure out how to get the key from under the doormat... my guy just gets confused... Please help

I just tried it again with a test family. Normally you just have to drop your guy on the doorman and he will proceed to "unlock the shed door".
The only thing I can think of : maybe your guy was interrupted before he could install the doorknob? You have to let him walk all the way to the shed once you drop him on the doorknob in the sand box. If it's installed you will see it on the door, it's a shiny gold knob. Only then you can try the doormat and get the key.

I opened the shed with one person getting the knob and the other getting the key. So it doesn't have to be the same person. But it was a good idea worth trying out!

nevermind I figured it out... all I had to do was have someone get a drink then at the same time have someone else use the weatherproof tape on the hose

Get money faster -
You dont have to carry your collectibles to the dresser or to the computer, you just have to pick the item up and then just pick up your person so he drops the item and the collectibe will show up in your collection or if you already have it you will get the money for it instantly. Same method works for taking out the trash.
