I tried to see if I could do a search and see if anyone was having the same issues as you but I couldn't find anything. I have not played the game yet but hopefully one of our great players who has will come along and help you out.
In the meantime Big Fish has a great customer service department that can help you if there's a glitch in the game.Their live chat is usualy the best option instead of e-mailing them. Unfortunately, they are only open during the week.If the problem persists you may want to contact them.
You can also write the developer directly on their site by

Thanks for the link to the game developer. I sent an email to Big Fish but it will probably be Monday before I hear anything from them. I emailed the developer and they asked for info about my computer and operating system (which is Windows XP). They said they would try to figure out what is wrong and get back to me. I also downloaded a couple of more games for the 1 hour demo from Big Fish, just to make sure my mouse is ok on other new games. There wasn’t a problem with the other games from Big Fish or any of the other games on my computer. So I’ll have to wait and see what happens. I guess I won’t “croak” if I don’t get it. LOL. Aren’t there frogs in the game?

Big Fish was able to give me a link and instruction to update the driver for my video card and that did the trick. I had used up so much time of the 1 hour demo fiddling with the cursor issue that BF gave me a coupon code to get the game free. They are just awesome at Big Fish. I’m the happiest frog in the lily pond now.

Debm, I wrote to Big Fish and they asked me for info about my computer. They were able to determine that I needed to update the driver to my video card. They gave me the web link to download the update and they also gave me instructions on how to update it. After that I restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the demo from Big Fish and I had no more problems. I hope they will be able to help you too.

Hi Deb,
I really like the game. It has upbeat music, cute characters and a lot of variety. The match 3 portion of the game has an interesting assortment of things to match. And the match field is not just a square, it has different shapes. There are little mice that come out every so often to make solid again some of the tiles you have broken. So you have to hit them to make them go away before they do too much damage. As you progress you can buy upgrades and bombs and such. To get the bombs you buy upgrades like musical instrument players, décor for the stage, singers, etc. and the power upgrades come with them. So you are jazzing up the place as you get more power. You can also stop between levels and go to the casino and gamble to hopefully win more money. I haven’t gone all the way through yet so I don’t know how difficult the later levels will become or how long the game lasts. All in all it is a really cute and fun game.
The upgrade for my video card driver was painless. I wrote to Big Fish and they requested a print out of a diagnosis of my computer to Big Fish. They told me how to get the info and send it to them. They determined what brand and model video card I had. It is Intel. They gave me the website for Intel and told me which upgrade to download that was right for my specific driver. They gave me instructions on how to install the upgrade and it was all very simple. It probably took about 10 minutes and I was good to go. But you know how your computer is and how it operates so whether you upgrade your driver would be your decision. It wasn’t scary to me but if it is for you then don’t do something you are uncomfortable with. I hope you have good luck whatever you decide to do.

I have not had any trouble with the cursor disappearing in the Tropicabana game but......... here is what has been my experience. When I get to level 12.5 or 12.6 the game abruptly ends. you cannot return to the game you are playing at that level. You can however return to the main menu and start over as a different player. The game at that point is not over, It just sort of crashes and ends abruptly. I did get quick e-mail response (in 20 hrs) from Bigfish and they did give me a coupon for another game. They were very prompt thorough and helpful but......... unable to pinpoint the exact problem. It was not (as I suspected) related to any problems within my operating system. I am a little disappointed that I have an entertaining game that I am unable to finish. but am quite satisfied fith bigfishes response and offer of a free game. This Tropicabana game is the first and only game I have experienced any difficulty with -
Bobbys45, Margie put a link to the game developers email in her response to me earlier in this thread. They might want to know about the problem you had. I have had the freeze up thing happen a couple of times in different games and most of the time when I start as another player I never have the problem again. Let us know how it goes under the new player.

Thank you. I did see the developers link and have submitted my experience to them. I also saw on the developers site that the game has 80+ levels. I have not been able to access any of the previously (abruptly) ended games
