How to Collect an Endless Supply of Resources
One advantage of having to play Treetopia is the chance to collect as many resources as you can during game play. Some games let you leave it for a few hours but this one will literally keep you glued on your screens until you tire yourself out. Collecting resources is one activity that will keep you clicking. Here are some ways to collect resources and fill your stash quickly.
Keep your Villagers Happy and Productive
When you build workshops, it produces on its own during the time period indicated when you purchase them. But, it also rewards you an extra stash of these resources every few minutes. Looking at the screenshot below, you will notice them floating near each building.
They are produced by your villagers when they are working on your buildings. This only happens when they are both productive and happy, as indicated by a smiling face on your village population bar. Take note that you need to click on them as they appear because they don’t stay very long. It will take another villager to work on the building for it to be available again. You can collect 5 free beads, 2 units of wood and 1 limestone for each click.
Remember, if you don’t have any happy villagers, it will stop producing the free resources.
Build Gum Tree Fire Pits
The fire pits provide you 50 beads every 5 minutes. Depending on how long you are playing the game, you can collect continuously and get more bang for your buck by constructing them.
Helping Neighbors
Visiting your friend’s village will also give you an endless supply of resources. The more workshops and villagers they have, the more you can collect. Looking at the example below, there are 21 villagers, several fire pits, wood works and quarries.
Removing the deadly plants was continuous and it was a challenge to keep all the villagers happy. On top of that, the resources kept on appearing while the workers worked and by the time you collect, some have already disappeared. This is a good problem because you know you’ll never run out of resources.
You are rewarded 2 beads for every plant you remove, 5 beads from fire pits and fountains, 2 units of wood and 1 limestone.
