Temple Run 2 dashes on over to Android

Say, Android owners, do you happen to hear that crazy pounding noise? Don’t look now, but I’m pretty sure it’s the sound of a giant, angry monkey busting down your door to tell you that Temple Run 2 is now available for select Android and Kindle devices. Good luck explaining that one to the family!

“Last year, we saw so much enthusiasm from the Temple Run community when we expanded the original game to more mobile platforms,” Imangi co-founder Keith Shepherd said in a press release. That’s easy enough to believe, what with the game having over 170 million downloads under its belt. The sequel isn’t doing too shabby, either: it was downloaded 20 million times after just four days on the iOS App Store.

With the game arriving on Android so quickly after its iOS launch, it will be interesting to compare how well it performs on each platform. Everyone loves themselves some demonic monkeys, after all. Or maybe everyone hates them? How about this: everyone has a strong opinion about demonic monkeys. If you have time to spare, be sure to let us know how you feel about them in the comments.
