Normally I would never, never review a game without finishing it. But I made it outside the house and I was done.

A great game visually and sound-wise, it has a good premise: Find the Snark - who no one has been able to find before.

A good bit of Through the Looking Glass is what I saw in what I played, with mirror travel, backward rooms, etc.

To progress you find objects - parts of objects, to be specific. And that was why I quit. Normally I don't mind doing this - but it looked like the entire game was going to be pieced out this way, and after spending nearly 30 minutes trying to put together a few objects (with hints used) it was simply too frustrating for me.

But three stars for a good premise and good, solid gameplay for those with a higher tolerance.

I really enjoyed the game, the music was easy, the graphics did make the hunt a bit challenging and the storyline showed parents in a child's age old complaint - you never listen to me :)

I gave the game 4 stars because it is not a long game, completed it in a few hours. But I found it as much fun as Steve the Sheriff.

Looking forward to playing the next game.

+DOUBLE POSTED IN ERROR + Delightful adventure FrOG. When I read the reviews for the more recent SB High Society, the general consensus was that it is not as good as this, the first one. So I tried this one and loved it. You find parts of inventory items to use in a variety of whimsical, colorful scenes with jaunty background music. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is that some of the particles to find are just too itty bitty and required too many hints to gather them all. When one gadget found and used, other parts open up, so there is a fun layering of progress. No more than 4 or 5 places to hunt around at a time, and all chapters give quite different locales to explore and items to find. I had a great time playing this - other than eyestrain - and recommend it to those who enjoy a more light-hearted tone to their casual gaming.

This was a surprisingly fun game.

Graphics were colourful, quirky and cute. Initially I thought the cartoon-ish artwork might put me off but I grew to like it. Story was alright and it kept me interested and wanting to continue to play. Gameplay was pretty clever & really fun. Most items were really easy to find while some items were very well hidden, hence a good balance.

Looking forward to playing the sequels.

This was a super fun game! I love the graphics, and the music was great too. I love the steampunk theme, and the story line, with its jumping back and forth between the real world and the alternate world is entertaining as well. It was a good length game, and kept me engaged. If it wasn't for MY real world, I would have sat there and played until I finished the game! Best game in a long time.

I passed on this game at first, not caring for the cartoonish scenery, but finally played it through out of curiosity and high user ratings. It is clever in a lot of ways with the "alternate universe" scenery and better than average dialogue. There are seven chapters total, and the repetitive nature of tasks and FOG scenes became tiresome after awhile, so the cleverness lost its luster for me.

The story is that Kira, a smart young lady fond of playing pranks, is challenged to find the elusive Snark, and through seven chapters she goes through various adventures, all played out with adventure/FOG scenes. There are no voice-overs, dialogue is witty at times, scenery is bright and colorful, music is upbeat and light, and it's meant to be all in good fun. The hints refill quickly and highlight areas of interest or direct you where you need to go. There's no journal or map, not that you need one. Puzzles are fairly easy, but can be skipped.

Because of the repetitiveness mentioned above, I put this game aside more than once, but it probably takes 4 hours or so to finish. I didn't seem to enjoy this as much as others, but that doesn't mean you won't. 3.6 stars

A fun, unique story with clever writing and interesting characters. The puzzles are also unique and fit in nicely to this off-beat adventure game. On my all-time favorites list.

I liked this game very much. Nice graphics, and most of the mini games were fairly easy. Perfect for someone like me, who had a bad case of awful games.
