I sent an email to - games@frogwares.com - and they sent me a link and instructions to download the timer option. Here is the response I got from Frogwares.
You can download patch from here:
ftp://frog_patch:VRfihmaeo8@lecos.com.ua/001.rar
To install patch you need:
1) unpack 001.rar file (using any archive program, for example 7Zip – free download here http://www.7-zip.org/download.html ) – you’ll get a folder “001”
2) copy 001 folder into the installation folder, by default it is c:\Program Files\The Mystery of the Persian Carpet
After this you can continue playing your game with old saves. To change the mode during the game you can go to Main menu-OPTIONS and choose the Timed/Untimed mode; starting a new game you are choosing the game mode from the very beginning.

I contacted frogwares and asked about the non-timer feature. They had me uninstall the game and re-installed it at Bigfishgames.com (I bought game there). They updated the game at bigfish as of last friday with the untimed feature. I will try the needle and thread again with the untimed version. I can't seem to get it. I wish they had a skip button. First of all that link for the no timer patch doesn't work. Could you please put up another one? And second of all Azada is not that complicated. It sounds like you're doing the old thing of making things harder than they really are. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

My copy of the game, which I downloaded from Big Fish Games, does not have a timed or not timed option. And boy could I really use that! Is there a newer version out that I don't know about? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks, Nancy Send a Kudo Post a Reply
