I am in exactly the same area. I just can't figure it out. When I clicked on the hint, it shot a lightening bolt to a panel on the wall.

I tried putting the shield on the red laser bar moving it slowly to see if I get a blue arrow but that didn't work either. It has to be something simple that I'm missing.

Same here. I have moved over everything in the screen but cannot find the blue arrow.

I used a hint for this too and it just shot to the panel to. I'm just stumped on how to use the shield. It has to be something ease that I'm not seeing and I've been at this for two days too. This is the first time I got stumped in this game.

Hey Scooter,
I had the same problem and I had to restart the game. Ana over at Gameboomers told me what should have happened. Once you've placed all the roses and the scarf, the beams should have gone away. You will have to start the game over. I read that BFg is putting out a glitch free version in the next day or so. Good Luck!

I used the roses and scarf to make the criss-crossing lasers go away. But I used the shield to block the vertical lasers in front of the coffin, panels, etc. The Dr. was behind the panel on the far left of the door where your hint probably hit.

Once you've placed the roses and the scarf, the beams connecting the items at the front of the room will go away. But there will still be vertical laser beams in front of the four objects along the back wall. These are a panel (far left), a Sacrophagus, a closed door, and an open hallway.You can put the shield in front of any of these four items and it will block the vertical lasers in front on that one item.You use this technique first to get Dr. Butler out. (Block the vertical beams in front of him, then click on the open switch next the panel. It will open and you'll see him. Then I think you have to click on him to get him out.)At that point you can pick up the shield and move it. You will have to do so in order to find the way out of the room.

Thanks everyone for your replys. Looks like I will have to start again after BF gets the new corrected version. I placed all the roses and the scarf and none of the beams left. So, thanks again everyone. That was the first time I got stuck in the game. I really like the game too. Thanks Margie, Arcadiarose and Robin, I appreciate the info.
