Ok, I'm really bad at directions, but you need to place your cursor in the middle of the "door" slide that slides up, down, left, right. Just keep moving it in those directions until it corresponds and the "bars" that cover the symbols, and one section of the door will fall off. Then you need to do everything again... re: move the arrows on top and to your side to align the symbols, etc. Hope this helps some. :-)

Thanks tweety but the darn symbols on the top and side panel do not match the one on any of the doors and they are locked in and will not move, they just lit up when I pushed the top and side panel and I left them thinking that was what they were supposed to be but they do not match any symbol on any panel and I think that is where my problem is, I just hope I don't have to start the darn game all over to fix this, the top left door panel did light up but the symbol on it does not match the ones at top and side, is that what they are supposed to do, if so then I am in trouble because the top and side symbols do not match any of my panels and like I said they are locked and cannot change them.

Hi micky, left you a note in the breakfast room, I forgot to add, that once all the panels are gone the turtle open and you have the stick for the gong.

Micky,played this game twice now. Won with no problems the first time but when played again, this puzzle froze and could not move. Think this is a glich.Restarted the game. I just finished it.Move the symbols slowly. Match top and side to corresponding symbol and then move the cursor> THink of The letter L (Top middle right) hope this makes sense.

Thank you susan finally someone told me whether or not the side panel and top panel symbol had to match the door panel, I figured it did and that was why I could not solve it but just kept getting the answer to move green box in middle over the green symbol on door, which I had already done several times, Jeez I really don't want to start th whole game over because I think that this is almost the end what a bummer....

only difference Mickey is that its my bottom panel that is lit up ... have red arrows at top have 2 symbols turned yellow can't do anything else

Same with mine sisterta top and side panel have red arrows and cannot move them anyplace else, except it is my top left panel that turned green, but it does not match the symbols on top and side and will not do anything, I think it is a glitch in the game and we will have to start over which really upsets me, I hate it when a game is screwed up and you have to start over because of the games error, now if it was my error that would be different but jeez right at the end of the game and now I have to start over that really bums me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mickey.... I started over too, am guessing we have no choice, and you are right its a bummer. Pretty confident that yours and mine is froze up , already started over

Micky, maybe you have a glitch, but the way I solved it is this. Use the green arrows to match up symbols on one of the doors. The arrows will turn red when they're in the correct position. The symbol in the door will turn yellow. Then slide the ruler-looking things over the center of the door with the yellow symbol in the middle. Hope you don't have a glitch--let me know if this helps.

Here is a link to pictures of how to work the 4 panel door puzzle in Japan. I have 3 pictures that show how to remove one of the four panels. The other 3 panels will be removed the same way.

Thanks Lizzie, now I know that mine has a glitch in it, because the top and side turned yellow on a symbol that is not on any one of the door panels and the top left door panel turned green but they do not match the symbols at top and side and I cannot move the top or side they will not move....I thought that the symbols had to match the panels on the 4 door pieces and they dont.....

Mickey...I played through again, this time wasn't locked up and amazing when the game is not frozen its easy and works like a charm. Slide the green arrows on side and top until the symbol on the door turns yellow, take middle slide and center it on the symbol, the two symbols slide together and the door panel falls ..could have saved myself several hours if it wasn't locked up TO EVERYONE, MOVE IT SLOW SO IT DOESN'T LOCK UP ON YOU, IF YOU DON'T YOU WILL HAVE TO START THE WHOLE GAME OVER!!!!

I had to start over since I had the same problem, and it's working now but I'm still not sure what to do. I try to line up the symbols but it just flips back to the centre, it doesn't do anything. Can anyone help?

the game gets frozen if you move the bars on the sides first!!!! -
Everything that has happened to you, is happening to me. I REALLY don't want to start the game over. Grrrr. Hate glitches when you've paid for something. :(

well as much as I have enjoyed this game, I seldom ever replay a game right away. I am stuck in the same place only red arrows and nothing in the panels move. I have the green box with directional arrows and what looks like a measuring stick can be moved left right up down but it does not help me. The top left panel is lit up because the hint told me what to do and I did it. Now none of the other symbols are able to be moved, only red arrows.
Does this mean it is a glitch? I hope the game company will give us a patch to get past this part. This has been a really fun game until now.

I finally managed to get through this door. I aligned the symbol of the panel I was working with the symbols on the top and side sliders, and slowly slid the center sliders over the top and side symbols. Then put the "hub" on the symbol of the door panel I was working and held it ther until the panel fell off. I hope this makes sense.

This has nothing to do with the door panels but you said you finished the game and won so I requesting your help on the lasers when searching for Dr Butler. What do you do with the shield. I can't get past this.

You take the shield and place it over light beams to block them. There are 3 individual places on the wall. Far left one is where you'll find Dr. Butler but do it on all three spots and click on each.

the problem with mine is that the symbols are not the same, top, door and right. Different ones and I cannot change them, the side arrows are red. Any idea of what to do?
Too bad, I was enjoying this game so so much, loved it, and didn't use any tips or hints. Until now. LOL
