After greatly enjoying SS and the Hidden Roses of Athena, I was eagerly awaiting the sequel. However, I was very disappointed in it. Most of the puzzles are either extremely easy and no challenge, or too obscure to figure out without the Strategy Guide (many kudos to Erin Bell for the excellent guide!). Where to use the tools in many cases had little to do with what the tool was, and the only way to find what tool to use was to just keep trying one tool after another until one worked, which is not very satisfying. The story felt cobbled together with little real connection from one chapter to another. Further, there were many times when clicking on an item to find did not cause it to be picked up, causing me to waste a hint only to find that I had already found an item but just hadn't clicked on it in the right way. You should be able to click anywhere on an item and have it be picked up. I have played Roses many times and enjoyed it each time, but I doubt I will ever replay Golden Touch. I wish I hadn't purchased it. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
