I'm so glad they made a sequel because the first one was so good.

Hi, I liked the first one, but it was so easy, I wish they'll make this one harder. Wel, I love Mumbojumbo games, and especially Luxor series.

My favorite game -- I mean 'Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena'!
But is it similar to the first one?
Is it too soon to release the second installment right after 6 months??
It's no need while we could still enjoying the replay value.

If it's good, then I don't think it's too soon. Some people can do in 7 months what some people struggle to do in a year. Personally, I rarely replay hidden object games or most games. It has to be truly exceptional for me to reconsider playing it more than once.
I just hope there isn't going to be a lot of hype and then it turns out to be a huge letdown. Hopefully, it's as good as the first one or better. I'm more concerned with the overall quality than how long it actually took then to make the game.

@gamezchick:
Replay Value is an exceptional/good/nice feature in Casual Gaming Space overall (including Hidden Object genre). I bet the first time playing always be a little bit 'rush' than these replaying times. You don't replay, then you've missed a lot of hidden/precious things in games. Truly.
Like you, I really hope sequels wouldn't have any misses/letdown 'as good as the first one or better'. But if you wanna this 'funny but difficult' thing, you gotta wait and it costs time to make games. As a 'fair-play' gamer, I always want developers to do things easily, comfortably and step-by-step... --- Is that good? :)
=> My Point: Time and qualities always enclose with each other.
@Levendig: Really, I was only able to play it once. But it's good after all.

Did you like my new Av.???

I´m waiting, too. Spending a lot of time replaying dear old HOGs. May be the new one´s even better than the first? I was a little disappointed when WMC-Darker Shade came out and could not reach the first one of the series... Lets hope for the best.

Good HOGs are badly needed! -
I enjoyed the first of this series. Definitely one of the better HOGs out there, and with a good length as well.

Thanks Levendig! I am stuck at the moment where I'm supposed to use a torch. I found the flint but I need to see where I missed a torch. The place that says I need a tool is not letting me just use the flint so I'm missing something somewhere. I'll try it more later. I got a busy day today. I am liking this one a lot and I loved roses of athena too.

Hi Oldspider.. I'am not supposed to give hints on a Beta, but use the flint to make fire on the stonefloor and than they give you the tourch..

I played the evaluation for RA. I'm with Hicham on this series. The first held your hand too much and items were too obvioius. This seems to be a bit better in terms of the objects being better hidden and things like how to make the torch do make you think. Even though I bought the first one, I got so bored I never finished it. I have hopes for this one.
@ Buzzworthy--I agree with the replay value. When I demo a HOG I always look for that. It also helps when there are different modes (like the speed rounds in the Little Shop series or Sunset Studio) and different trophies one can earn. I'm just now replaying the Dream Chronicles series in anticipation of DC3 and I'm surprised at how much I've forgotten. Of course it helps that I'm over 50 and my gray matter ain't what it used to be.
