I hope that the music isn't just a gimmick, and that they take the time to make the game play exceptional...sounds very very intriguing..nyone else think so?
I do. I can't wait to see how this game is going to turn out. It sounds great! But kind of along the lines what Joel said, it could either make or break it. I'm really curious about this one.

Hi All - I'm glad you're excited about our game. The music does rock - no gimmick! We're using 12 REO songs, including brand new versions of a couple classic tunes that have never been released - Keep on Loving You and Roll With the Changes. All the music in the HO levels are instrumental sound tracks with different moods that we pulled from REO music.
We paid a lot of attention to the game play: we have about 70 levels, about 20 different types of games, and we introduce new games all the way to the end of the experience. We also designed this game and the story to appeal to any player, no matter whether you know or like this band.
We're doing something special too: everyone who buys the game will get a coupon code to get a discount on the new REO Speedwagon Christmas album... AND! if you find the "Golden Ticket" in the game, you'll be eligible to win 2 tickets to an REO concert in 2010, and a backstage meet-and-greet with the band. We're awarding 10 of these prize packages.
Looking forward to sharing some preview material with you before the launch.
Thanks for your enthusiasm!
- Adam

This will either work

This will either work brilliantly or fail in a blazing glory to the strumming of a classic rock guitar. Seriously, I hope this game rocks, so that we'll see a Journey based game next.
