Hey Gtagta, Your goal for the next round will be the same whether you get the hives or not. So it's really up to your abilities whether you should get another hive or two. I had 4 for the most part, I think I didn't get up to 6 until the very last day or so. I will say this much, if you have the space why not get it, they don't take up too much room anyway.Keep me posted!

well, one thing I'd add is that when you're filling an order, you don't get anything extra for extra food. So once you've filled the order for 4 honey, for example, don't put more honey in the barn, because you won't get paid for it. The only exception is the Farmer's market. Also, 6-12 hives are manageable, but I once bought 20, and couldn't see the clover for all the bees flying around. :-)

It's only worth it when you have the jam machines. Each machine will hold 3 honey. It really helps when there's a demand for jam that day or to stock up for the next day.
