Thank you Margie. Not only are you a help at Gameboomers but now you have solved yet another problem for me. I recieved the same notice from Tech support. The Princess Bride game is working beautifully thus far and works with Vista. Having a blast and worth the money I paid.

We know that some people are having problems running this game on their computers. I've posted the solution given by World Wide Biggies, the developer of the game. Please follow the instructions below to see if that solves your problems. Thanks, Margie B (Moderator)
Most customers having problems with Vista have had success getting the game to run using the steps I've included below from our FAQ page. You can also direct people on this thread to Princess Bride Support where they can find a link to our customer portal to put in a help ticket. From there, we can help people on an individual basis. That page also has links to our message boards and FAQs.
1. In your Control Panel, open the System control panel applet.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under Performance, click Settings.
4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
5. Change the Data Execution Prevention ("DEP") setting to "turn on DEP for essential services only"
6. OK out of the control panel and restart the computer.
7. If you are using Vista:
Right click on the executable file (located by default in C:\Program Files\Worldwide Biggies\The Princess Bride Game) and hit the Run As Admin option, which is located towards the top of the right-click mouse menu.
If you are signed into an administrator account, you will not need to enter a password again. If you are on a regular account, you will need to enter the administrator password, if there is one.
This will not work from the shortcut on the desktop and must be done through the executable file in The Princess Bride Game folder only.
