I loved the first Posh Boutique game and still play it regularly, despite the nasty cardboard graphics! Posh Boutique 2 has vastly improved the graphics and picks up where the last game left off with Alicia jetting off on holiday. She wins a $1,000,000 lottery on the plain and decides to build her own chain of posh boutiques. The basic concept is still the same with each shop having 3 different types of stations displaying clothes and accessories, but the sole mini game played to select the customer's goods from the original game (scrolling through to find the most dollar signs showing) has been joined by two more: a grid of 9 boxes each containing an item and you have to click on what the customer wants, and secondly a row of items moving across the bottom of the pop-up box where again you select the correct item(s) by clicking. You play a different mini game at each of the 3 stations but, to make things more interesting, the game played at each station swaps around from level to level so its harder to know whats coming next. Combos can still be earned by clicking on 2 or 3 customers one after the other and moving them together but this cannot be used until the concept is introducted after the first few levels (unlike the first game) and there is a new type of linked customer who enter as a pair and have to be moved and served as a pair, requiring two free stations each time. There are still VIP customers to serve, and at the end of a level with VIP(s) there is the same mini game where you have to choose the customer's perfect outfit using a blurred image, but now you also need to select accessories as well. Another new concept is "Press" agents who you treat like VIPs but at the end of the level the mini game is a hidden object scene (1 for each press agent you serve) where you have to find, for example, all the women's blouses or all the white shoes in a scene as quickly as possible. You get a cash award decided by the average of the number of scenes you complete. Stations can be upgraded and extra ones bought on the upgrade screen at the end of each level plus you can purchase a cleaning service and upgrade the speed of both the cleaner and Alicia. A second (new) upgrade screen has been added where you can decorate a boutique window by purchasing various clothes and decorations, which give you extra happiness for your customers, increased customer spend or increased number of customers entering the shop. If you wish to make expert in every level, at least some of the boutique window items are essential purchases. End of level prizes have been replaced by trophies awarded at the end of each level for various achievements such as chaining 3 or more actions etc. To sum up, this is a worthy successor to the original Posh Boutique and highly recommended (currently only RealArcade and Gamehouse are selling, but other sites should have available in due course). Posh Boutique 2 is very easy time management game which is fun in it's "posh Boutique" way. Easy to make expert so it is not too stressful. Guess you can call it a relaxing TM for experts and great for children and adults who are really not into TM's.------------------------------------ There are 2 mini games to get a little more cash.. actually sort of maybe but I would not call it a mini game but in the main menu some times you can click on her "bubbled" image from the items on the bottom of the screen that roll thru. I think they put this part in, just in case you used up your money in the upgrades for certain upgrades are needed to make goal and this will give you money to get them.---------------------------------------------- Different ways to make the choices for the customers on each level.
