  It sounds like you probably have a damaged file. You need to check with technical support wherever you bought the game. Good luck--I'm sure that must be frustrating!

  thank you robin94122 at last somebody with an explanation i downloaded the trial from 3 different sites mysteryville is the same i thought i was pulling my hair out so thank you
