I liked this game - just enough HOG challenges as well as puzzles. The puzzles could have been tougher, but overall fun. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This was an enjoyable diversion. Not too hard. Mini puzzles were decent. It was a bit boring in parts and it was frustrating to click on an item and not have it register sometimes, but overall I thought this was nice. Not sure I'd have paid $20 for it, but at BFG game club price a great way to have spent the rainy weekend. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I played this last week, and I really did enjoy it. It is a well crafted game with diversity in gameplay. However, I didn't realize how short it was when buying it. Less than 3 hours of gameplay didn't feel worth the money. Definite buy, but get it when they reduce the price. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

loved the game, the graphics were great, and I enjoyed the interaction besides just the hunt and find. The endings of each chapter I thought were somewhat cheezy with the drawing the shapes of fire, but at the end of the game it was cool because you had to put all the shapes in order, which was a challange, yet fun. The only downside to the game was that it was way to short. I played the entire game in 2.5 hours including the free trial time. I'd like to see the next one much longer as well as harder puzzles. Overall its a good game and worth the price. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I enjoyed the trial but haven't decided if I'll buy, yet. The graphics were beautiful, the puzzles were so-so (a bit easy) and the music was fine. I guess I'm just getting burned out on HOGs, but to be fair this one isn't all that bad. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

You can tell the developers really tried to make a good HO/Puzzle/Adventure game, but it fell a tad short in some areas which I hope they will improve upon in their next game. The game was very easy - I was clicking on HO's before they showed up on my list. Sometimes I didn't even look at the list because I could already tell what the HO's were. There was also too much hand holding. The cursor never changed from a magnifying glass even if you were doing two different tasks. Opening an area or just picking up a secret object. I had to click a couple times on one item to get it to take a few times. The mini games would have been wonderful had they not dumbed them down. The circuit board was one. You could tell how to rotate the outside pieces because of the heavy lines on 1-2 sides of the squares. There was something weird about the game's story combined with finding stuff. It's set in the Victorian era right? Why did the missing brother have stuffed animals, toys and a surf board in his office? I like 1/2 of the game and hated 1/2 of the game, so... I don't know what I will do just yet. If it was a longer game, I could forgive it's short comings easier. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I loved this game. The mini-games were great and didn't have me pulling out my hair. Very relaxing to play. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Mystic Diary has a different look and feel from most HO games largely due to the beautifully done artwork and composition. I can see from the credits that the game was developed by a very small group of Russian designers and I think they deserve a lot of credit for creating new twists to standard puzzles but mostly for the lovely and well-planned scenes. The only small complaint I have is that some objects required very precise clicking which was a bit frustrating although there didn't seem to be any penalty for multiple clicks. On the short side; mini games had no helps or reset options; was finished with the game in under 2.5 hrs. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
