I played the beta and I thought the final version was a big improvement. It ran better, it looked better, and it felt better. I thought the dialogue was well done -- just the right amount. Some games have a whole screen of dialogue or several pages at a time.
I actually enjoyed it more the second time around (playing the final version) even though I had already experienced much of the same things before.

I purchased this game..have played it twice but cannot get by the Secret Libary puzzle. No problem getting throught the other puzzles...this is the puzzle where you have the jewels and have to hook them up to unlock the locks. I can't believe it and am getting very aggravated...Any suggestions?

They should have put a "skip" button in this game.

I also enjoyed the game. I admit the minigames were a little bit much but at least I wasn't "pulling out my hair" trying to figure them out (I am not good at logic games). I liked the storyline and will play the game again just to look for the hidden objects.

Right now, am at "fix the broken pipe

scene." There are too many pieces of the black stem for the pipe, and I can't get the scene to go on and change to go on with the game. Is that a glitch? I would like to finish the game. Did anyone run into that problem? How do I get past the broken smoking pipe scene after the pipe is fixed except for the one extra piece that's not needed? I would like to do Beta testing also, how do I get started into it? Judy -
I'm at the Library too, and I can't figure out that puzzle either. I would appeciate help very much. What am I missing? I get part of it, then nothing works the rest of the way

The trick is to spread all the pieces out and put the base ones on first. There are no extra pieces....If they are in the right place they "settle In".

I enjoyed the variety in this game and have spent as much time as On Amazon game and didnt have to buy a strategy game or keep going in and out to solve the puzzles.
I enjoyed the variety of rooms and commentary.

As long as they don't turn, that means the gears are not in the right place. Sorry Judy but that must have been a glitch for the pipe, has not problem at all! The only problem is that the game is way too short!

I like this game a lot. The fact that the difficulty level is just about right for me probably means it is too easy for many of you..:)

I happen to like gear puzzles - yes, there are quite a few of them.
There is plenty of variety, the story is sort of reasonable, and all in all it is one of the most enjoyable hidden object games I've played. -
Are people still looking for help with this game? In terms of the pipes, you want to rotate the pipes so that all 'key' pipes find a path to a 'lock' pipe. Start by setting up one path, and then seeing where you can hook up to another path by rotating a piece....if people are still stuck, post here, and I'll go back into the game to the library and see what I did....

I finally got past the Library, but now I'm into another Jewel puzzle. Why don't they have help for these? I don't know if I'd buy this again or not, at this point. I have no idea what the formula for these puzzles are.
