Apparently a lot of people are having problems with a tile that doesn't seem to move.
In order to move one tile out, you should be able to click on the tile that you want to move and place it at the bottom of the screen, or you may be able to right click it. I can't remember which one. If for some reason it doesn't want to come out. Exit the game temporarily and come back to it. A lot of times that can fix those type of issues.
If those steps don't help you may have uninstall and then reinstall the game, it should save your progress. You should also update your Direct x and your video card, if you haven't done it recently.
If all those steps fail you may have to contact the people you got your game from because you may have a glitch in the game.

I had to uninstall and re-install the game; it did *not* remember my progress and I had to start over. I haven't gotten to the Alps yet, but I remember someone posted a link to the solution. I'll try and find that so it doesn't happen again.

I had the same problem in the Alps, so contacted Gamehouse for support. Their "response" was "Hello, unfortunately, we did not develop this game. We recommend searching the web for hints and tips to help you pass this game. For additional assistance, we recommend contacting the developer of this game:http://artogon.com/site/". The game developer is out of St.Petersburg, Russia and their website was no help at all. I just started over under a new name and it went OK the second time around.

The fourth time I played this game I put several of the brown puzzle pieces in the wrong places to see if they would get stuck. Some of them would not move back out unless I did a right click instead of a left click. The right click seems to unstick them, or at least it did for me.

Thankyou soo much for the support. I will try all of the suggestions... :) I'll probably be back again with the next chapter, but I hope not.
